Hilton Malaysia Launches Celestial Blooms, 2019’s Mid-Autumn Indulgences

August 6, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Mid-Autumn Festival is a time of bonding and family reunion. It is celebrated when the moon is at its biggest and fullest, and in Chinese culture, this represents harmony and happiness. In the olden days, moon worship played an important role during the festival. Families would give offerings including mooncakes, to the moon in belief that it will bring them good luck.

To keep these cultural beliefs alive, Hilton hotels in Malaysia launched its mooncake series, Celestial Blooms, which fuse tradition and innovation beautifully. The golden-baked petite delights exemplify elegant craftsmanship, high quality and unique flavours.

This year’s traditional mooncake gift box boasts calm cyan blue hue with delicate floral designs representing the appreciation and giving thanks for abundant harvest. A round shape symbolises completeness, and the motive of the full moon encapsulates moon gazing – a mystical and vital part of the celebration.

Each participating Hilton hotels in Malaysia offer a selection of premium traditional baked mooncakes, from RM24nett per piece. The traditional baked mooncakes come in an array of flavours including much-loved Pure Lotus, Red Bean Paste, Yam and Lotus with Single Yolk, Pure Lotus with Single Yolk, White Lotus with Single Yolk, and Pandan Lotus with Single Yolk. For those seeking something distinctive, the signature flavours for this season are Black Sesame Lotus with Single Yolk and Durian Lotus.

Join us in keeping traditions alive with the Celestial Blooms mooncake gift box, and a medley of unique baked mooncake flavours. The Celestial Blooms series are available from RM88nett per box of four (4) baked mooncakes. Purchase five (5) boxes and receive  one (1) box free when you order from 1 – 15 August 2019, and collect from 15 August – 13 September 2019.

Hilton Dining APAC Members and selected bank partners will enjoy 10% off when they spend RM500 and above in a single receipt. For purchases of five (5) gift boxes and above, stand a chance to win a 2D1N stay at the Presidential Suite in DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru. Results will be announced on Facebook after the Mooncake Festival.

For more information on Celestial Blooms Mooncake Series and to make your bookings, please call DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru at +607 268 6868 or email [email protected]
