‘OHSEM’ MALAYSIAN GIVEAWAY WITH OMG FIESTA

August 24, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Kenny Rogers ROASTERS (KRR) has received overwhelming demand for their OMG Chicken (the only unfried fried chicken in Malaysia) from guests. In response, KRR has launched the OMG Fiesta campaign happening from 1 August to 28 October in conjunction with the Merdeka celebrations.
In the spirit of celebrating Malaysia, KRR has joined hands with Malaysia’s national-branded car – PROTON, to give one lucky winner a chance to drive home a brand-new Proton Persona 1.6 Premium CVT when they dine-in at a KRR restaurant and purchase one of the OMG meal items stated below:

1) OMG Family Platter – 6 pieces OMG Chicken, 2 Side Dishes, 4 pieces Kenny’s Home-made Muffins, and 1.5L Coca-Cola
2) Kenny’s Nasi Lemak OMG –  Kenny’s Nasi Lemak + 2 pieces of OMG Chicken
3) OMG Chicken Meal – 2 pieces of OMG Chicken + Aromatic Rice + Coleslaw
4) 6 Pieces of OMG Chicken

Thila Chandran, Senior Marketing Manager of Berjaya Roasters (M) Sdn. Bhd. commented on behalf of KRR, “As a brand that has been in Malaysia for more than 20 years, the team wants to celebrate all things Malaysian especially during the Merdeka month and Malaysia Day. We are especially excited to be able to join hands with Proton, our national car manufacturer to create such a campaign that can easily resonate with Malaysians.”

Abdul Rashid Musa, Chief Executive Officer of PROTON Edar Sdn. Bhd. said, “Going on a road trip and dining together with our loved ones are great ways to foster strong family ties. We are happy to be part of the campaign as we want to help families create strong bonds by encouraging them to get together during meal time or go on a well-deserved family trip to visit awesome destinations around Malaysia.”
Thila highlighted that the Kenny’s Nasi Lemak OMG which was recently introduced, is available at all 83 KRR restaurants nationwide for Malaysians to enjoy. “It is a delicious and healthy version of Malaysia’s classic ‘national dish’!” she said.
For every purchase of the OMG meal, guests will be asked to answer 2 simple questions as well as create 1 slogan to be placed into a contest box in any KRR restaurants. Guests with the correct answers and best slogan will stand a chance to win a brand new Proton Persona 1.6 Premium CVT or 18 x KRR cards with RM 200 credit preloaded.
