MOF JAPANESE SWEETS & COFFEE, SUNWAY PYRAMID

July 31, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

MOF stands for Ministry of Food which originated in Singapore. One of its outlet is located in Pavilion but this round we went to the outlet located in Sunway Pyramid. It is a Japanese style cafe serving healthy fares such as salad, sandwiches, bentos, coffee and desserts. MOF is having not just bento but the options are variety and they do have spaghetti, desserts, coffee and more. Here comes our meal

Chicken Teriyaki Special where the chicken is being pan fried and served with the theriyaki sauce in the bento rice box. it is served together with the egg and watermelon
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 16.90

Chicken Katsu Special is where the chicken is being breaded and being deep fried. It is then being served with the egg and watermelon. The chicken meat was tender and the curry used was sort of like the one we used to have when eating roti canai at mamak.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 16.90

If you prefered some curry, you may opt to try the chicken curry katsu special where the deep fried breaded chiken is served with curry in the rice box and a small portion of salad. It is topped with 2pcs of watermelon as desserts with it.
Price: RM 16.90

They are not serving bento but as for mains they do served chicken teriyaki pasta where the pasta is being served together with the home made teriyaki sauce and a chicken teriyaki together with it.
Price: RM 16.90

As for desserts we ordered the Supreme Zenzai where the portion is kinda a big one where it is served with the hokkaido red bean with green tea gelato, kanten jelly, shiratama ( japanese dumplings) and also the waffer biscuits.

We also get the Sundae where it comes with the option to choose on its ice creams flavors like macha, chocolate, strawberry, mango, black sesame, watermelon and peach.
We did not choose any but it is being prepared by the staff itself to us.
Price: RM15.00

Shiratama Kurian is where the Azki pase served with kanten jelly, ghuhi which is the japanese soft candy. Besides, they also served with shiratama (dumplings) and it is soft served with the selections of fruits with it.
Price: RM 16.50

Macha Imo will end our meal where the ice cream is served with the Japanese sweet potato, red bean and Macha sauce.
Price : RM 16.50
