Magnum launches new limited edition Magnum Red Velvet and encourages Malaysians to #NeverStopPlaying

Magnum, the authority on pleasure, has launched its most playful ice cream yet – Magnum Red Velvet. The new, innovative and bold flavour introduces a playful take on classic Magnum indulgence as a reminder to inspire Pleasure Seekers to have the confidence to play as an adult.

“When did being a modern and sophisticated adult mean that there was no time for play? Play is all around us, yet goes mostly unnoticed or unappreciated,” said Shiv Sahgal, Marketing Director for Foods & Refreshment, Unilever Malaysia. “Through the launch of Magnum Red Velvet – our most playful flavour yet – we hope to inspire our Pleasure Seekers to bring back moments of play into their day to day lives. Be it while at work or relaxing with friends, we are encouraging everyone to never stop playing.”

Inspired by the iconic and well-loved Red Velvet cake among Malaysians and fans across the world, Magnum has pushed the boundaries yet again in delivering and replicating the popular favourite in an indulgent Magnum ice cream.

Magnum Red Velvet – #NeverStopPlaying with the Sweet and Savoury
As the chocolate expert, Magnum elevates the level of chocolate innovation and credentials with each new indulgent creation. With Magnum Red Velvet, Magnum offers a playful balance of fun and sophisticated flavours.

True to the “Never Stop Playing” spirit, Magnum has innovatively played with different taste profiles with the new Magnum Red Velvet. Bite into a coat of luxurious and cracking cream cheese-infused Belgian white chocolate, made with the finest cocoa butter – a sure sign of quality chocolate. Within, velvety cocoa ice cream has been naturally coloured red and is swirled with a savoury cream cheese sauce, bringing the classic Red Velvet cake flavours together into a perfectly balanced, sweet and savoury Magnum ice cream.
