Hometown Bak Kut Teh @ Mayang Oasis Food Court : The Hidden Jewel of BKT

November 23, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Bak Kut Teh fans rejoice! Being a big fans of bak kut teh, I had found another hidden corner of good bak kut teh in Taman Mayang where the stall is located at the same row as many hawkers delights.

Opening 2 months back, they do not served much internal organs but they are more to its meat and other more delicious item that you should die for. The delicious menu is indeed something you should go for there.

Braised Tofu (RM 1/pc)
Braised Egg (RM 1/pc)

Enjoy the delicious plate of braised tofu and braised egg here. The tofu comes silky and well infused with the signature sauce in it. The egg is also very good and nice too. Impressed how it is done.

Bak Kut Teh ( RM 12/ pax)
Enjoy the lovely bowl of Bak Kut Teh where the bak kut teh is served with the aromatic brooth and topped with the generous portion of pork and vegetables in it. The soup is very flavourful and filled with aromatic herbal fragrance in it. Deliciously done and mouthwatering. Pork remains as good as it is with the tenderlicious meat.
Bak Kut Teh Dry (RM 12/ pax)
For the dry bak kut teh; we are indeed falling in love with it. With the hint of light spiciness and the caramelized pork; the bites is simply addictive. But yet, the pork is sliced too small pieces where we hardly can dig them up. Neverless, the taste is just awesome.

Hoong Bak (RM 12/pax)
Another signature here is also the Hoong Bak where you can rarely find now. In here, we had a great meals with the tenderlicious pork with the creamy based of gravy which is at the sweeter version. Drenched your rice together with the gravy and I bet you get the second bowl  of rice. You can get them with the add -ons of the Braised Chicken Feet at RM 1 per piece
So, why wait where you can enjoy the delicious bak kut teh here in Taman Mayang Jaya.
