Lavo @ Tropicana : Affordable Classy Dining experience

The first resto lounge located in Tropicana enclave, Lavo, was launched recently by M Group which is the same management of the behind CHAZE Whiskey Lounge and The Prince Chinese Cuisine.
Lavo had been opened for business since June 2016, boasts an extensive wine cellar, serving a delectable fusion menu and has been drawing discerning diners and wine lovers. Bringing you with the ample selection of food from the locals to westerns as well as a wide variety of liquor, wine and more.
Wild Mushroom Soup (RM 15)
Enjoy the creamy mushroom soup where they are made with the trio-handpicked mushroom. I love the creamy delicious
Caesar Salad with Smoked Salmon (RM22)
Enjoy the bowl of Caesar salad where you can have the crispy baby romaine tossed with homemade creamy dressing together with the boiled egg and parmesan cheese.Choose to add on with the choice of Cajun chicken, sautéed prawns, and also smoked salmon.
Bites 
 
 
Fu Chuk (RM 15) 
Love some crispy light bites, enjoy the Fu Chuk which is where the fried chicken filling is being stuffed in the bean curd skin and served together with the Thai Chili Sauce.
 
Marinated Skewers (RM 15) 
Being Malaysian, you would definitely love their marinated skewers (satay). The grilled boneless chicken thigh is being marinated with the local spices and served together with the cherry tomato salad.
For the mains, enjoy the wide variety of choices from the selection of Asian, Western or more.
 
Nasi Lemak (RM 16) 
For those who are fancy on some delicious local delights, try their pandan infused coconut steamed rice where it is served together with the spiced fried chicken and chili paste. The nasi lemak is indeed a good one with the generous portion of rice and L-shape thigh and drumstick with it. Crispy goodness skin with the fragrant tenderlicious aromatic chicken meat in it.
 
Kampong Fried Rice (RM13)
Served with generous portion and topped with the sunny side egg, the white rice is being stirfried with their homemade paste, prawns, and egg. Sides with the marinated chicken skewers. The fried rice comes simply good with the wok –hei in it.
 
Char Koay Teow (RM 15)
Enjoy their signature char koa teow here. This is wwhere the flat rice noodles is being wokked fried together with the prawns, chives and egg with it.
Linguine Al Cortoccio (RM 28)
Have the lovely parcel of goodness in one pack. The seafood in tomato gravy is being tossed with linguine and oven and it is then being baked in a parcel. The linguine comes simply delicious and the pasta is well done with the al-dente texture.
 
Baked Salmon (RM 30)
Enjoy the lovely plate of delicious salmon where it is well baked till perfection where the salmon fillet is encased in the puff pastry, served with creamed spinach and mashed potato.
 
Lychee Longan Mojito (RM 26)
For those who love the hint of mojito, you would definitely love their Lychee Longan Mojito. Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, together with the sour rhubarb liquer, lychee nectar, longan nectar, brown sugar, mint leaves and lime wedges.
Smoked Sweetness (RM 29)
Bringing you with a queech of sweetness, enjoy the Henessy VSOP, fresh red and green grapes, fresh lemon juice, thyme, elderflower syup and a touch of the Peychaud’s bitter.
 
Strawberry Mojito. (RM 26) 
Grab a taste of the Bacardi Carta Blanca rum that comes with the strawberry liquer, fresh mint leaves, fresh strawberry, lime wedges, and malasses brown sugar in it. Nicely done!
Watermelon Basil Caipirinha / Caipiroska (RM 15)
Combination of rum/vodka in one together with the fresh watermelon, basil, watermelon syrup, molasses brown sugar and fresh lime wedges. Nice combination to go for!
