Tiki Taka @ Jalan Kasah: MUST try Fusion Asian Bites

September 18, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Tiki Taka, a new addition in Medan Damansara where in here you have the pleasure of being spoilt by choices. The concept of small bites of everything where you can enjoy the fullest with the variety dishes all in one goal. And here in Tiki Taka, you are pampered with the global gastronomic adventure with the array of unique and diverse flavours.

The restaurant located at the corner comes with the benefits of having the alfresco area where you can drink, and enjoy the awesome delicious food by the corner. And not just that, you can enjoy the free valet service here for those who dine in Tiki Taka.

Start of our dining with the varieties of Tiki Taka’s best selling Pinxtos. And of course, every thing would surprise you from the start.

Mexindy (RM6)
Enjoy the grilled tandoori chicken where it is well marinated with the spices such as the Mexican Dry Rub and the Yogurt Crema. The lovely tantalizing aromatic dish which topped with the pricked onions and coriander with it. Perfectly done with the right hint of spiciness in it and yet the taste is just awesome (complete with the flavours in it)

Salted Egg Crab Bun (RM9)

One of the signature item here and you can enjoy them with the fluffy charcoal brioche and sandwich between is the amazingly delicious salted egg crab meat, curry leaves, and bird’s eye chili. With the oozing salted egg cream sauce with the hint of crabmeat in it, it is simply a delightful dish and something MUST order here!

Nutella Bacon (RM6)
You must be kidding me with this combination? Sweet Nutella and Savory Bacon , will it make a good match or weird? Well, get me wrong this time, the taste is just divinely good where the Nuttela with the caramelized banana and topped with the grilled bacon. Then, sprinkled with walnuts, truffle honey and the blueberry. This is just heavenly. The amazing combination where you can grab the bites of sweetness from the banana and also the Nutella spread and then with the crisp and savoury blend of taste from the bacon itself. Another MUST have here!

Non-Halal Drunk Rice (RM15)
Bring your self with the fragrant turmeric rice whit the masala minced pork in it. Served together with it is the garlic sauce, red sauce, coriander, and also the prickled shallots. The bowl of rice is simply fragrant and the masala pork on the top brings up the whole taste making it even flavourful.

Pork Ribs (RM 22)
It’s porky time and who don like pork-licious meal. And I am tempted with their ribs of course- the succulent meat texture and it is of course so juicy. Recommended to sprinkle some lemon juice to it as it will enhance the overall flavours.

Shaoxing Chilli Prawn Pasta ( RM20)
This is sinfully addictive and I would love to opt for another plate! Cooked till al-dente, the spaghetti is being grilled with the Shaoxing wine prawns. The prawns remains is texture as juicy, crunchy as it it with the topped of birds eye chili, parmesan, kaffir limes and cherry tomatoes at the side. The dish was superbly good and I love the hint of spiciness that comes with it.

“Sin” is King Pork Pizza 8’ inch (RM 25)
The amazing delicious pizza, and it is really the awesome pizza to go for especially if you are a pork lover. The pizza completes with the hearty back bacon, minced pork , spicy sausage, streaky bacon chips and pork floss. Topped with the gracious red pepper sauce, olives, red pepper, mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, onion and parsley.  Love the juicy back bacon and also the crispy edge of the pizza.

Nutella Bacon Wantons (RM 12)
Don’t miss the dessert here. They are impressively good and delicious. Enjoy the deep fried nuttela together with the bacon wantan which is served with the macerated berries and balsamic glaze dip. Delicious bites of wantan and love how they make it with the sprinkled of icing sugar on top. Dip the wantan into the macerated berries dips to brings you a complete twist in the flavours.

Ice Ice Baby (RM 12)
Love this desserts. Uniquely delicious desserts to go for where each and every mouthful is just so good that I could not resist to have more. Comes with the mix of mango sorbet, coconut ice-cream with toasted coconut flakes, pandan palm sugar syrup, buttered popcorn, crushed peanuts and some sweet fruits.

For you are looking for a good unique delicacies, Tiki Taka is of course one of a must to go for. Perfectly a good place with great dining experience.
