IBERICO KITCHEN @ OASIS DAMANSARA

May 29, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

iberico

Located in Oasis Damansara, we are indeed happy to found some good place for a dine of porky delights. Iberico Kitchen-a name that says all where the restaurant focus just on Iberico Pork.

About The Iberian Pig
The black Iberian pig lives primarily in western and southwestern Spain, including the provinces of Salamanca, Ciudad Real, Cáceres, Badajoz, SevillImmediately after weaning, the piglets are fattened on barley and maize for several weeks. The pigs are then allowed to roam in pasture and oak groves to feed naturally on grass, herbs, acorns, and roots, until the slaughtering time approaches. At that point, the diet may be strictly limited to olives or acorns for the best quality jamón ibérico, or may be a mix of acorns and commercial feed for lesser qualities.e, Córdoba (Denomination of Origin Los Pedroches) and Huelva. This is where the free-range pigs that roam oak forests (called dehesas) along the border between Spain and Portugal, and eat only acorns during this last period.

Knowing how good is the pork is , Iberico Kitchen brings us with their dishes where we started of with the Citrus Garden Greens (RM 16.00). The mixed salad leaves , segmented oranges and grapefruit, beetroots, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes and lemonade dressing with it. The salad comes simply appetizing and every mouthful of the salad is simply refreshing.
iberico
The Nachos (RM 24.00) comes with the crispy bites of Nachos and it is served together with the Iberico minced pork meat with their signature sauce in it. The nachos comes crispy and well match with the minced pork meat.
iberico
The soup here is slightly different from those we had in many restaurants. The Wild Infused Mushroom (RM 11.00) comes with the mix of the sauted mushroom and homemade mushroom stock, served with slice garlic herbs baguette. The soup is not very thick but you can taste the bites of mushroom and fragrance of it.
iberico
The Pumpkin Spice (RM 10.00) where the roasted diced pumplin with nutme, spices, and vegetable stocks being cooked together with a slices of garlic herbs baguette.
iberico
The Brocolli (RM 10) is where the broccoli florets in the homemade vegetable stocks and served with the garlic herbs baguette.
iberico
When it is served on the table, the dish is indeed making my tummy drolling. The Ibericco Collar on Mashed Potato (RM 37) is a MUST to order in Iberico Kitchen. The flavourful Ibericco Pork with the moist and juiciness within the meat; is indeed making everyone tummy drolling and it’s never enough. Making me one wanted to droll for more delicious porklicious items.
iberico

The Secret Extra (RM 39.00) is where the Iberico meat is being pan-seared with the basic ingridients and it is served together wth the moist pilaf rice.
iberico
For those who love to get some rice to accompany with their Iberico Pork, try their Chef Seafood Fried Rice (RM 19.00) where the chef’s signature fried rice is cooked with the real crab meat and shrimps. I love it!
iberico
Ended with the desserts which is the Crema Catalana (RM 15) served together with the watermelon salsa.
