SHABUTON TEI, KOTA DAMANSARA

August 18, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

SHABATON TEI
– Shabaton Tei-

SHABATON TEI

Kota Damansara is simply a place for food and there are lots of food to go for. If you are looking for a choice of ramen and steamboat; a big shout-out to tell you that Shabuton Tei have them all. Cozy restaurant with the café style with the touch of Japan culture, you will be welcome with a smile as well as a simple menu to choose for. Barely a month since opening its doors, Shabuton Tei, has been attracting droves of diners eager to try its authentic Hakata ramen and collagen laden shabu shabu.
SHABATON TEI
Shabuton Tei has brought the unique street food of Japan to Malaysia in one location and in a brand new restaurant modelled to a “yatai” concept. Yatai are outdoor food stalls setup along a street in Japan. Shabuton Tei serves a menu of Japan’s delectable street food, including the renowned yatai Hakata ramen (noodle soup), shabu shabu (hotpot), Gyoza (dumpling), Donburi (rice bowl dish), Tori Karaage (crispy fried chicken), Butabara Yaki (grilled pork belly) and a wide selection of dishes that can be found in Japan’s yatai
SHABATON TEI
Started with the snacks, Shabuton Tei serves choices of snacks which comes from the deep fried gyoza (RM 11.90). The gyoza was petty well done where t is well fried till golden brown with the crunchy sides and juicy and meaty ingredients with it.
SHABATON TEI
This is good and I would give double thumbs up for their Buta kakuni (RM 15.90). The stewed pork belly comes with the tender and moist texture, full of collagen I would say where pork belly lover would not say no for this. The texture comes so juicy-licious with the melts in the month collagen. Oh my! I could not resist this and want to have more!
SHABATON TEI
Being in a Japanese restaurant, another item which we usualy love is the Chicken Nanben (RM 11.90). The chicken nanben is where the chicken is being deep fried till perfection and it leaves us with the tender meat beneath with the crispy skin and the pipping hot chicken meat with it.
SHABATON TEI
As for the ramen, they have a few to choose for. They have two types of ramen to choose for where you can choose the shio ramen or the shoyu ramen which comes with the different brooth, flavour as well as the accent. We had the Shio Tonkotsu Ramen(RM 23.90). The tonkatsu ramen is well boiled with the savory soup which is filled with loads of collagen in it.
SHABATON TEI
We also had the Aka Shio Tonkatsu amen Special (RM 23.90) where it comes with a kick of spiciness in it. The broth comes with the light spiciness and ingredients is pretty the same. For those who prefer some kick of spiciness, try their Aka Shio Tonkatsu Ramen “Special” here.
SHABATON TEI
Last but not least we also had the Kuro Shoyo Tonkotsu Ramen Special. The broth is not spicy but it is served with the special shoyu in it. One of the chef’s recommendation here as well.
SHABATON TEI
If you do not wanna have slurppy noodles for the day, they also have shabu shabu as well. Get a try of their shabu shabu with the add on of the unlimited ingridients to go for.
