INTERCONTINENTAL KUALA LUMPUR’S TAO CHINESE CUISINE LAUNCHES NEW WEEKEND PROMOTION WITH TRADITIONAL COMFORT FOOD

InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s award-winning Chinese restaurant, Tao is rolling out an exciting new weekend promotion featuring Tiān Huǒ Guō, better known as Hot Pot starting March onwards. A popular choice across Asia, Executive Chinese Chef Wong Lian You presents the favourite comfort dish with superior quality ingredients to ensure a luxurious and memorable dining experience. 
Dive into the bounty of delectable with three distinctive choices of Hot Pot Sets offering a variety of over 20 different ingredients. Hot Pot Set 1 is priced at RM78++ per person featuring pomfret, tiger prawn, Japan scallop, chicken, beef, assortment of mushrooms and hand-pulled noodles. 
The Hot Pot Set 2 is priced at RM98++ per person with interesting highlights on the menu that include baby abalone, king tiger garoupa, wagyu beef, prawn dumpling with wonton noodles. For those seeking for a more luxurious dining fare, Hot Pot Set 3 is priced at RM138++ per person with the menu taking on a more fusion approach with Alaskan crab, blue river prawn, venison, squid ink cake, fresh gingko nuts, pumpkin and Japanese somen noodles. 
Chef Wong has specially concocted five exclusive soup bases to simmer the goodness. Nutritious and full of flavour, be spoilt for choice with Pumpkin with Congee and Truffle Oil Soup Superior Cordyceps Flower Soup, Roasted Duck Bone with Salted Vegetables, Ginger and Yam Soup, Wolfberry Chicken Soup, or Hot and Spicy Soup. 
The Hot Pot experience is available at Tao every weekend and Public Holiday for dinner only from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. 
Tao is designed to bring guests authentic and memorable dining experiences through the revival of traditional cooking techniques, tailored by the skills of Executive Chef Wong, and exceptional menu items. “Tao”, which means peach in Chinese, is decorated graciously with bloom of the pale pink peach flowers and features hundreds of ornate Chinese teapots. The restaurant houses six elegant private rooms all named after the dynasties in China – Han, Song, Tang, Yuan, Ming, and Qin.
