From the moment you step into Umi, the ambience speaks of understated luxury — sleek lines, soft lighting, and a front-row view of Kuala Lumpur’s glittering skyline. A Symphony of Freshness and Flavour

Chef Danny’s menu is a masterclass in modern Japanese dining. Each dish is beautifully plated, precise in execution, and imbued with his signature flair.

 

Lime Cold Somen

 The experience begins with the Lime Cold Somen, where chilled noodles meet a refreshing blend of lime and yuzu sauce  with a light yet vibrant starter that awakens the senses.

 

The Soft Shell Crab Salad follows with a satisfying crunch, balancing delicate greens with golden-fried perfection.

While the Sashimi is a perfect indilgence and combination. We love the beautiful cut of the fish and sides with the ikura and uni. A pure indulgence not to be missed. 

Chawanmushi

 

Ikura Chawanmushi

Seafood lovers will be delighted by the Ikura Chawanmushi, a silky steamed egg custard crowned with glistening salmon roe, and the Kaisen Chirashi Don, a colourful medley of premium sashimi arranged over seasoned rice — both offering bursts of umami in every bite.

 

Kaisen Yakimeshi

Tori Karaage

The Kaisen Yakimeshi, or seafood fried rice, impresses with wok-kissed aroma and generous portions of fresh prawns and squid, while the Tori Karaage delivers crispy, juicy bites of marinated chicken that’s impossible to resist.

For those who appreciate comforting familiarity, the Teriyaki Chicken provides a tender, flavourful finish, glazed to perfection and served with Chef Danny’s own refined touch.
