A Timeless Ramadan Celebration at Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, City Centre

March 1, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

As the festive season of Ramadan approaches, Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, City Centre welcomes guests to a heartwarming celebration of culinary nostalgia. With the start of a new year filled with promise and togetherness, the hotel’s signature restaurant, The Mesh, presents the Pesona Klasik Dinner Buffet—a feast that transcends generations, blending timeless Malaysian flavors with an immersive dining experience. Available from March 7, 2025, onwards, this grand buffet invites diners to embark on a flavorful journey across Malaysia’s diverse heritage.

This year, Pesona Klasik Dinner Buffet showcases an extraordinary selection of over 60 traditional dishes, meticulously crafted by The Mesh’s talented chefs. Inspired by their personal culinary heritage and treasured family recipes, each dish tells a story, rekindling cherished memories of home-cooked feasts.

The buffet features numerous live stations, presenting an authentic showcase of Malaysia’s rich gastronomic tapestry. Signature highlights include a medley of traditional gulai varieties, hearty bubur lambuk, tender ayam percik Pok Nik, the aromatic kambing bakar rempah giling, and the much-loved Dulang Kampung classics. Every bite is a tribute to the vibrant flavors and cooking traditions passed down through generations.

The buffet begins with a selection of kerabu, offering a variety of textures and flavors—from the zestful kerabu daging and fresh kerabu makanan laut to the beloved sambal hitam Pahang, rojak buah tempatan, rojak pasembur, and sengkuang cili kacang tumbuk. Complementing these are refreshing ulam-ulaman, ikan masin, sambal belacan, and an assortment of jeruk madu, setting the stage for an indulgent meal.

For lovers of rich and aromatic stews, the buffet presents an exquisite lineup of gulai kawah daging rendang madu, flavorful beef curry, and the distinctive gulai ikan Nyonya bunga kantan. Slow-cooked to perfection, these dishes boast complex layers of spices and textures, capturing the essence of home-style cooking.

A must-try is the soul-warming sup tulang tumis darat, an irresistibly fragrant broth brimming with deep, comforting flavors. Additionally, guests can savor the famed bubur lambuk ayam cincang, bubur lambuk bersayur, and the delectable lemang kukus pulut susu, each prepared with traditional techniques for an authentic taste.

The main course selection is a feast fit for royalty, featuring a generous spread of classics such as Nasi Briyani, Ayam Percik Kelantan Pok Nik, Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Talapia Goreng Tradisi, Sambal Ikan Tumis Petai, Sambal Tumis Ikan Bilis, Lemak Cili Api Telur Itik, and Pejeri Terung Nanas. Every dish is crafted with precision, ensuring an explosion of flavors with every bite.

Adding to the excitement is the dedicated noodle station, where guests can enjoy the irresistible mee rebus utara, known for its rich and savory gravy. The live cooking stations further elevate the experience with sizzling hot satay ayam, freshly grilled ikan bakar, indulgent martabak kambing cincang, crispy roti john, aromatic kambing bakar rempah giling, and flavorful gorengan Pantai Timur selections.
