Indulge in Authentic Japanese Flavors at Ichi-U Dining

 For those who adore Japanese cuisine, Ichi-U Dining is a must-visit destination that promises to leave you craving for more. Nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at Faber Imperial Court, the restaurant boasts a beautiful Japanese-inspired ambiance. With polished wooden booths indoors and a traditional Japanese aesthetic outdoors, the setting perfectly complements its exquisite menu.

Ehire Grilled Stingray Fin (RM25)

We love how these thin strips of grilled stingray fin served on a fresh bamboo leaf make for an addictive starter. The combination of mayonnaise and a dusting of chili powder adds a burst of flavor to these chewy, crunchy bites.

Abocado Tosaka (RM28)

This is a complete indulgence to start of the meal. We love how the refreshing salad that perfectly balances creaminess and crunch. And it is ideal for starting your meal on a light note.

Salmon Sushi Platter (RM110) 

One of the must order and the highlight of the menu, this platter features five varieties of salmon sushi alongside an irresistible salmon roll. Each piece is crafted with precision, showcasing the freshness of premium salmon.

Aburi Sushi Platter (RM110)

As for the Aburi Platter, we enjoyed the chef’s selection of seven types of deluxe sushi paired with sushi rolls makes this platter a feast for the senses.

Anago Makimono (RM52)

For those who love unagi, this is a must to have. The Roasted seawater eel rolls that are packed with flavor. Each bite delivers a delectable blend of smoky and savory notes.

Engawa

The roasted flounder fin roll is a must-try for sushi enthusiasts. Paired with creamy avocado and nutty aburi rice, this dish offers a delightful balance between earthy and oceanic flavors.

Jyu Platter (RM268)

A must to have here. Delivered in a glass box with dramatic dry ice, this platter features six types of sashimi selected by the chef, depending on the season. During our visit, we enjoyed a pristine assortment of sweet prawns, bluefin tuna belly, salmon, hiromi (white fish), and scallops.

Kaisen Seafood Teppanyaki

A crowd favorite, this dish features a generous portion of premium seafood including salmon, tiger prawns, scallops, squid, and sautéed vegetables. Each ingredient is expertly teppan-grilled to bring out its natural flavors, resulting in a truly satisfying meal.

Dango (RM25)

Tri-colored rice dumplings served on skewers, lightly grilled to perfection. A drizzle of brown sugar sauce enhances the natural sweetness of the chewy dumplings.

Mizu Shingen Mochi (RM18)

Also known as the “raindrop cake,” this jewel-like dessert encases a large strawberry in a clear dome. Mild in flavor, it pairs beautifully with a gula Melaka sauce for a sweet, balanced finish.
