Ramadhan Buffet 2024: Selera Awangan Dinner Buffet at TRACE, Element Kuala Lumpur

March 14, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

In the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s bustling cityscape, where culinary diversity meets towering skylines, the upcoming Ramadan season introduces a unique dining experience at TRACE Restaurant & Bar, perched on the 40th floor of Element Kuala Lumpur. From March 14 to April 7, 2024, patrons are invited to indulge in the Selera Awangan Dinner Buffet, promising not just a feast for the senses but a communion with the skies and breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur’s iconic landmarks.

The buffet spread, meticulously curated by a team of talented chefs, serves as a homage to Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage. Focused on four distinct cooking styles – Malay, Oriental, Western, and Middle Eastern – the menu offers a gastronomic journey that transcends borders. Malay cuisine takes center stage with authentic dishes like Rendang Ayam with Lemang Bakar, Bubur Lambuk Berempah, and the ever-popular Beef and Chicken Satay Celup, crafted by an enthusiastic team of Malay chefs.

Acknowledging the growing popularity of Middle Eastern cuisine, the buffet introduces mouth-watering staples like Chicken Maghout, Lamb Kabsah, Beef Mandy, and the irresistible Chicken Shawarma. Served in Lebanese or Pita bread, these additions bring a new dimension to the traditional Ramadan spread.

The dining experience extends beyond the buffet table with live action pop-up stalls offering Nyonya Popia Basah, dim sum, Popia Goreng, Sup Baling Kedah, and a customizable Kerabu Station

. For spice enthusiasts, the Masak Lomak Cili Padi Claypot provides a piping hot experience, featuring choices of smoked beef, duck, or quail, showcasing diverse textures of meat.

Continuing the buffet adventure, Oriental delights include Grilled Chicken in Thai Sauce, Stir-Fried Beef Mongolian, and Butter Prawns with Egg Floss.

Western roasts feature Slow-Roasted BBQ Beef Striploin and New Zealand Butter Fish Papillote, satisfying the carnivorous palate.

A grand finale awaits with a plethora of festive desserts. Traditional kuih-muih, kuih raya, assorted cakes, patisseries, fresh local fruits, and creative offerings like Ais Kepal Pelangi and Ais Batu Campur add a sweet note to the high-floor buffet adventure.

The Selera Awangan Dinner Buffet is priced at RM188 nett per adult and RM94 nett per child. An early bird offer at RM148 nett per adult is available for bookings made on or before March 13, 2024. Marriott Bonvoy and Club Marriott members, along with Maybank and CIMB cardholders, enjoy a 20% discount from March 14, 2024, onwards.

The Selera Awangan Dinner Buffet at TRACE, Element Kuala Lumpur, transcends the ordinary, offering not just a feast for the senses but a communion with the skies. As the holy month of Ramadan beckons, this gastronomic journey promises to be a celebration of “ukhwah” – the spirit of brotherhood – shared among family and friends against the backdrop of Kuala Lumpur’s mesmerizing skyline. TRACE stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of diverse flavors, cultural richness, and the joy of communal dining, inviting guests to embrace the spirit of togetherness in the skies above Kuala Lumpur.
