Haidilao Ignites the Year of the Dragon with a Sizzling Collaboration

January 15, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Sharing common roots of origin from Sichuan China, both Haidilao and Kung Fu Panda franchise aim to bring families and loved ones together with a seamless fusion of culinary excellence and cinematic charm.

Commenting on the partnership, Yang Xibei, Director of Branding and Marketing, Super Hi International Holding Ltd. said, “Symbolising good luck, strength, and health in Chinese culture, the dragon holds a special place as the only mythical creature in the Chinese zodiac. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Haidilao as we continue to innovate and elevate the dining experience for customers. The fusion of Sichuan flavors with the beloved characters promises a delightful journey for both hot pot enthusiasts and movie aficionados alike.”

Exclusive Kung Fu Panda Merchandises and Prosperity Pack

Haidilao patrons stand a chance to acquire 8 sets of exclusive DreamWorks Animations Kung Fu Panda 4 X Haidilao Chinese New Year (CNY) merchandise. These comprise the Kung Fu Panda 4 Plush Hat, Red Packet Holder, Plush Keychain, Shoulder Plush, Calendar, Photo Frame, Water Bottle and Yu Sheng Dining Set. These sets are available for purchase and/or redemption through the Haidilao membership points.

Moreover, with every RM388 spent on dine-in experience in a single receipt, patrons can redeem a Kung Fu Panda 4 Prosperity Pack comprising couplet set and red packets.

Enjoy exciting activities with your family and meet your favourite action Panda

The experience does not end there! Movie fans will have the unique opportunity to meet and greet the iconic character Po from Kung Fu Panda during special appearances at select Haidilao locations. This exciting interaction promises to bring the magic of movies directly to the dining experience.

From 10 Feb 2024 onwards, patrons can also participate in a colouring contest, post their entries on their Facebook or Instagram pages, tag @Haidilaohotpot-malaysia and show the post at any Haidilao outlets in Malaysia for a sure-win scratch-and-win opportunity. Prizes include “Kung Fu Panda 4” movie tickets, merchandises and free Haidilao dishes and vouchers!
