September 7, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Nestled in Bukit Damansara, Frangipaani has masterfully embraced the enchanting allure of colonial architecture, adorning itself with graceful curved lines and a captivating alfresco design. The ambiance exudes an air of sophistication and romance, seamlessly blending deep wood elements with mosaic tiles. This artistic fusion finds its harmony under the gentle embrace of stylish light fixtures, weaving an elegant tapestry throughout the space.

Whether you’re seeking an intimate dining experience or a serene spot to unwind, Frangipaani’s skillful blend of colonial aesthetics and modern design promises an unforgettable escape into elegance. The restaurant brings you with the great service and upon walking inside,we are greeted with smiles and great service which makes us feel like home.

Papad Chutney Basket (RM 12)

We started off our meal with the Papad Chutney Basket, a delightful starter that promises an explosion of flavors and textures. This dish is a celebration of contrasts, where the crispy goodness of the freshly fried papadams meets the cool and refreshing notes of our signature Mint and Mango chutney.

Panni Puri (RM 24)

The Paani Puri is crafted from meticulously deep-fried breaded spheres that encapsulate a medley of flavorful ingredients, including potato, and moong sprouts. Accompanying this delectable creation is our zesty Mint Chutney. This condiment is the perfect companion to the Paani Puri, adding a refreshing and tangy note that elevates the flavors of each bite.

Fish Cutlet (RM 36)

Indulge in the delightful crunch of our deep-fried tuna fish, encased in a perfectly seasoned coating that elevates its taste to new heights. The addition of aromatic curry leaves infuses the dish with a burst of fragrance, while the subtle heat of pepper adds a satisfying kick. The finishing touch of fresh coriander brings a refreshing note that perfectly balances the ensemble of flavors. Super delicious and we are truly addicted to this.

Chatpata Brocolli

The Chatpata Brocolli  is something worth to go for. They are indeed a great culinary experience where they comes with the earthy goodness of broccoli meeting with the rich creaminess of the yogurt together with the delightful crunch of cashews and the vibrant hues of the spiced beetroot.

Whats make it unique is on its textures and flavors that come together on your plate. The cashews add a delightful crunch, enhancing the overall experience. This dish is not just a treat for your taste buds, but a wholesome culinary adventure that promises a burst of flavors with every mouthful.

Naan : Garlic & Plain (RM 14)

At Frangipaani, it’s impossible to resist the allure of their Naan offerings. From the moment you step into this culinary haven, you’re presented with an array of tantalizing options to elevate your dining experience. The Naan section, in particular, beckons with its enticing choices from Garlic, Plain and Cheese Naan.

We love the Cheese Naan so much where  they had transfer the traditional naan into a flavor-rich delight, the Garlic Naan doesn’t hold back on its aromatic essence. The infusion of garlic elevates the naan into a savory bites and every mouthful is sinfully addictive and delicious.

Prawn Briyani (RM 48)

This dish brings you with the essence of fragrant basmati rice that has been meticulously cooked with care and expertise, creating a bed of flavorsome grains. What truly sets this Briyani apart is the succulent prawns that adorn the dish. These prawns, fresh and plump, are cocooned within the layers of aromatic rice, resulting in a union of tastes that’s nothing short of exceptional. The cooking process itself is a testament to culinary finesse, with the dum technique ensuring that each prawn and rice grain absorbs the essence of the other, culminating in a symphony of tastes with every bite.

Palak Chaat (RM 24)

Love the delicious Palak Chaat! It comes with the combination of spinach , spiced yogurt, tamarind, Mint Chutney. We love them so much and they are pretty creamy and yet very appetizing.

Frangipaani’s Butter Chicken

Frangipaani’s Butter Chicken brings you with the complete richness of the Indian Cuisine. One can enjoy the tender chicken that has been beautiful marinated and cooked till perfection. The succulent chicken is then enveloped in a luscious tomato-based gravy that boasts a depth of flavors. The addition of Kasturi Methi, or dried fenugreek leaves, infuses a unique and aromatic essence. It is then added with the butter and cream and the luxurious creaminess come together to create a sauce that’s both indulgent and comforting.

Falooda

Falooda, a true crowd-pleaser that captures the essence of tradition and innovation in every spoonful.  In here, one can enjoy the combination of delightful blend of basil seeds and vermicelli, creating a textural symphony that dances on the palate.  Added with it is the some jello, and the Rose Saffron Milk. We are indeed sold with this which makes a great memories during our dining here.
