Lim Jiu : A Hidden Bar in Chan Siow Lin

November 2, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Recently; we found out about this awesome hidden bar in Chan Siow Lin. It is indeed a nice place for a drink and enjoy great food too. Not like many hidden bar that serve tapas or small bites, this bar brings you more than that where they are serving you with main courses too.

“Lim Jiu” the bar name comes from the Hokkien Word “ Drinking” where in here you can enjoy wide choices of fresh brew beer, and liquor too. In “Lim Jiu” , one can enjoy the delicious Michelin star fusion delights  which you can paired them with beer.  We tasted some of their food where we are impressed with how it is prepared.

Spam Luncheon Fries

We started off our meals with their Spam Luncheon Fries . The Spam Luncheon Fries are perfectly cut and served with their Thai Sauce. They are perfectly done and every mouthful is sinfully good

Mushroom Soup

Don’t miss out the wholesome Mushroom Soup which is made in house using their premium fresh mushroom. The mushroom soup comes thick and filled with the aromatic taste of mushroom. Top with the truffle oil on top which makes it a luxury touch!

Roasted Iberico Pork

Their Roasted Pork does not disappoint me at all. One can enjoy the delicious roasted pork where it brings you with the cracking sound with every bites. It is well roasted till perfection and every mouthful remains its juiciness in it.

Soft Shell Prawn With Seafood Spicy Soup

A must to try here! We love how the Soft Shell Seafood Spicy Soup is done. The aromatic flavours of the soip itself combined with the touch of the spiciness umph of it. This is just irrestible and every mouthful is heavenly. Oh ya, the soft shell prawns here very unique where one can have the prawns together with the shell too.

Aglio Olio Seafood

The kick of umph and spiciness of the dish, they are so good and delicious. The noodles are perfectly prepared and with the al-dente texture. The taste is marvellous with the light kick of spiciness in it.

Signature Clam Soup

We ended with their Signature Clam Soup which is packed with flavours and hint of ginger taste in it. Love the taste of this and it’s so good and robust taste which I drink almost the whole bowl of soup.

In here, they also organized events and special activities to cater to different types of crowds. In here, they do have Thai Festival Ladies Night which is held every Thursday! Visit them now where you visit with your 3 friends to get a complimentary Thai Cocktails on them!
