Immerse in the Fantasy World of My Melody and Little Twin Stars at Crème De La Crème

April 23, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Hot on the heels of launching the viral “Pak Naser’s Nasi Lemak” ice cream with AirAsia and “Beauty Elixir”, the world’s first beauty ice-cream, Crème De La Crème (CDLC) is set to take the market by storm once more. CDLC is delighted to announce that Sanrio will be partnering the famed artisanal ice cream haven to exclusively host the iconic My Melody and Little Twin Stars for their Malaysian fans and friends.

This momentous collaboration with Sanrio will see the debut of special My Melody and Little Twin Stars characters conceptualized by the creative team of CDLC and a 360-transformation of CDLC into a multi-sensory Fantasy Land of the affable characters. Apartfrom this sensory treat for the eyes and Instagram feeds, CDLC has upped the ante at what they do best, and hand crafted a tantalising set of My Melody and Little Twin Stars themed ice-creams, petits gâteaux, “Bloop! Bloop! Bloop!” (CDLC-signature beverages) and even specially designed merchandise including tees and a collectible sticker set, befitting of the greatest celebration to be thrown for the ultra-lovable icons.

Inspired by both My Melody and Little Twin Stars and their favourite things, CDLC is proud to present:

Artisanal Ice Creams

Little Twin Stars: Using only 100% natural ingredients such as Butterfly Pea, lychee sorbet, peach sorbet, and Madagascar vanilla ice cream to create the fantasy colour palette of Little Twin Stars, this fantasy-like and dreamy-looking ice cream sure taste like a beautiful dream come true.

My Melo’s Pound Cake: Inspired by My Melody’s love for Almond Pound Cakes, this delicious ice cream is hand crafted with almond ice cream swirled with candied almonds, home baked almond pound cake and gooey chocolate ganache.

Petits Gâteaux

My Melody: Fondly named after My Melody herself, this ultra-cute Petite Gateau (ice cream cake) is a delectable combination of high-grade Oolong tea ice cream, raspberry sorbet, passionfruit curd and white chocolate.

Land of Stars: Paying homage to the birthplace of Little Twin Stars, this looks too pretty and picture-perfect to devour! Expect a gastronomical escapade of cream cheese ice cream, blueberry basil sorbet, strawberry jam, pecan crumble and white chocolate dip.

Guiding Star: Given to Lala by her father, her guiding star wand guides the Little Twin Stars on their journey and when waved in a circle, snacks will appear. In this case, it comes in the form of yummy and refreshing coconut ice cream, coconut sorbet, caramelized pineapple assam sorbet, pineapple tropical compote, almond crumble, and white chocolate dip.

Bloop! Bloop! Bloop!

Omoiyari Star: Found only on the Dream Star Cloud, this is one highly-instagrammable and refreshing concoction of lychees, mango, blueberries, peach, and other secret ingredients that will leave you starstruck!

Pink!: Celebrating the iconic colour of My Melody is this pretty-in-pink thirst-quencher of pink peach sorbet, homemade strawberry compote, and a dose of zest.

“We are madly in love with My Melody and Little Twin Stars and it is our honour to be partnering Sanrio for this iconic and special collaboration. We took over a year of planning, conceptualization and R&D with our talented friends at Sanrio to ensure the best multi-sensory experience and we cannot wait to share this with CDLC and Sanrio fans.”, enthused Lio Lim, the managing director of CDLC.

“Our Hello Kitty collaboration with Crème De La Crème in 2019 was a huge success and an unforgettable experience for both Sanrio fans and ice-cream lovers across Malaysia. It is our pleasure to once again partner with Crème De La Crème as we believe it would provide another exclusive chance for fans to share a rare moment of bliss and happiness in difficult times like this.”, Caroline Tsang, COO of Sanrio Wave Hong Kong and Macau shared.

This collaboration runs till 31 May 2021.
