OYO supports Sabah Tourism’s #BahMariLah campaign

August 3, 2020 By StrawberrY Gal - Event 1 Comment

Between now and 30 September 2020, OYO is offering discounts of 50% on room rates at all of its properties in Sabah in support of Sabah Tourism’s #BahMariLah campaign to drive tourism in the state.

All guests need to do is use the promo code BAHMARILAH50 when making their booking to enjoy the discount which is applicable at all 2,000 rooms in all OYO properties in Kota Kinabalu, Keningau, Kunak, Lahad Datu, Ranau, Sandakan, Semporna, Sipitang, Tawau and Tenom for stays from now until 30 September 2020. It is valid for bookings made using the OYO Website or its Android, iOS and Windows apps. Bookings made using the promotion cannot be modified and cancellation charges are applicable per the OYO policy. The offer also cannot be combined with any other offer.

Tan Ming Luk, Country Head, Malaysia & Singapore, OYO Hotels & Homes said the offer is to support Sabah Tourism’s #BahMariLah initiative and offer visitors clean, good-value accommodation wherever they are in the land below the wind.

He added, “Tourism is one of the key pillars of Sabah’s economy and it is important for us to do our bit to support efforts by the state to drive recovery in the sector by encouraging more people, particularly those from Peninsula Malaysia to visit Sabah and discover its rich cultural, gastronomical and natural offerings.”

“With international arrivals curtailed, Sabah’s tourism sector took the brunt of the impact. Now with the country in RMCO and interstate travel allowed, this is an opportune time for local attractions and hoteliers to stimulate interest by encouraging more people to discover more about their home country, while also supporting local communities.” concluded Ming Luk.

Cheah Lee Sun, Hub-Head, Sabah at OYO said the hospitality company is excited to collaborate with Sabah Tourism on the #BahMariLah campaign and support Sabah’s push to become a top destination for local tourists.

“In 2019, Sabah was the third most visited state in Malaysia, with 22 million visitors. We would like to welcome more Malaysians and residents of Malaysia to experience the wonders of nature and the flora and fauna that’s unique to the land below the wind. With 2,000 rooms across Sabah, OYO is ready to offer all our guests better value and a pleasant experience during their time here. #BahMariLah to Sabah”, adds Lee Sun.

“Malaysians love Sabah especially for the cool weather around the Kundasang – Ranau area, the islands and the seafood! We would like to encourage you to get adventurous and explore other areas. Recently I’ve come across a number of articles circulating through social media which are great to give ideas on what else you can do in Sabah.” add Pn Noredah Othman, General Manager of Sabah Tourism Board

In addition to discounts, OYO guests who make a booking at a hotel in Sabah anytime during the duration of the #BahMariLah campaign are eligible to enter Sabah Tourism’s lucky draw competition from 1 July to 31 August 2020 . The competition enables anyone purchasing a package listed on the dedicated campaign website to stand a chance of winning one of 20 local travel packages up for grabs. Register your entry here after making your OYO booking.

It looks like you’ve misspelled the word “Enterance” on your website. I thought you would like to know :). Silly mistakes can ruin your site’s credibility. I’ve used a tool called SpellScan.com in the past to keep mistakes off of my website.
