December 24, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Usher in the Year of the Rat and reconnect with your family and friends at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, where Man Ho Chinese Restaurant will present a series of delectable seasonal specials for the festivities. This is also the time for you to spread good fortune to your loved ones and business partners with Man Ho’s signature Chinese New Year Puddings, XO sauce and other heartfelt gifts.

From 25 January to 8 February 2020, look forward to an impeccable selection of new dim sum and refined à la carte creations just for the Lunar New Year celebrations, be it family reunions or business gatherings. Premium dim sum highlights include baked dried abalone puff with wild mushrooms, steamed diced chicken dumplings with vegetable and sea moss and baked sea cucumber pastry with seaweed. Auspicious specialities are not to be missed for blessings of good luck, such as pan-fried dried oysters with osmanthus honey sauce (representing good wealth and fortune), Yusheng Abalone (symbolising prosperity), the succulent Macau sole fillet with citrus sauce (representing abundance) and the majestic braised sliced abalone with dried garoupa skin (expressing auspiciousness).

Complement a perfect home celebration and spread the joy and good fortune to friends and business partners with Man Ho’s two signature gourmet puddings, the Chinese New Year pudding with gold leaf and mashed red dates (HK$288 net) and turnip cake with dried tiger prawns (HK$288 net), for sale from 13 January to 23 January 2020.

For those with discerning taste, a new series of enticing merchandise with exquisite packaging is also available as the perfect gift idea, including homemade Man Ho XO sauce (HK$328 net), candied walnuts (HK$138 net) and seaweed cashews (HK$138 net) as well as palmiers (HK$168 net). Prepared with a secret recipe by Chef Jayson Tang, the Executive Chinese Chef of Man Ho Chinese Restaurant, the gourmet XO sauce is freshly made with a plentiful of handpicked ingredients such as dried scallop, Chinese ham, dried shrimp roe, dried shrimp and so on, delivering a rich and unique flavour that honours local culinary culture.

What’s more, to celebrate Man Ho Chinese Restaurant being selected as one of the Top 52 restaurants by Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme, 4 diners or above who order the signature 6-course tasting menu between 6 and 12 January 2020 will enjoy a special price at HK$1,080 per person (subject to 10% service charge; original price at HK$1,480 per person) alongside the personal sharing by Chef Tang with his creative philosophy.
