Hua Ting Restaurant Celebrates Gold Award with Award-winning Cuisine

June 3, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

A celebrated stalwart in the Chinese fine dining scene for over two decades, Orchard Hotel Singapore’s signature restaurant Hua Ting was awarded Gold in The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao’s Best Asian Restaurants Awards.

In celebration of this prestigious award, Hua Ting’s master chef Lap Fai has created a 6-course Gold Award Celebration Set Menu.  Diners can feast on visual and culinary Cantonese masterpieces featuring Chilled Lobster Jelly topped with Salmon Roe, Aged Pu-Er Smoked Duck, Deep-fried Scallop Paste and Pear (水晶三文鱼子龙虾, 十年普洱熏鸭脯拼梨香玉带); Double-boiled Fish Maw Soup with Clam and Jade Spring Tea Leaves (碧螺春木瓜蚌炖花胶); Tiger Prawn, Crab Meat, Crab Roe and Shredded Ham in Egg White (玉碟玻璃虎虾球); Baked Sea Perch with Lemongrass (香茅焗鲈鱼扒); Braised South African Whole Abalone with Japanese Thin Udon in Superior Oyster Sauce (蚝皇扣南非鲍焖稻庭面); and Tangerine Steamed Egg (陈皮炖蛋)

“My team and I are thrilled to receive the Gold award and we are grateful for all the support received from everyone through the years,” said Hua Ting’s master chef Lap Fai.  “We wish to share our appreciation by creating a Gold Award Menu for your indulgence”.

“We are very honoured that Hua Ting Restaurant has received the recognition it deserves from the best in Asian gastronomy,” shared Jean-Philippe Jacopin, General Manager of Orchard Hotel Singapore.  “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole team in bringing enhanced dining experiences to our esteemed guests in a modern setting.”

The Best Asian Restaurant Awards is part of a year-long gourmet extravaganza, the Asian Masters which celebrates Asian gastronomy and showcases Singapore’s leading Asian restaurants.

This special Hua Ting’s Gold Award menu at S$128 per person (minimum 2 persons) is available daily for lunch and dinner.    For reservations and enquiries, please call 6739-6666 or email [email protected]  Prices are subject to service charge and prevailing government taxes.
