Nicsmann 1940s By Lewre @ Sky Avenue, Genting Highlands: Not Just Western!

September 5, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Nicsmann 1940s By Lewre  started their first outlet in TREC had now expended to another outlet in Sky Avenue. For those who are not aware, Nicsmann 1940s By Lewre was inspired by a vision to create  a new, fashionable F&B brand in the latest and prominent entertainment hub in Malaysia.

Niscmann 1940s By Lewre was born in 2015 and their first outlet at TREC KL, Tun Razak. The restaurant brings you with the great ambiance when one can enjoy some music in the cold ambiance and with some great food as well. And Nicsmann 1940s By Lewre not only offering you with the western delights but they have more than that!

And now you can dine 6,000 feet above the ground for a different experience here in RWS Genting Highlands.  And being here; one can enjoyed great meals, toss over a glass of wine or some beer with friends. With the great view and great music accompanying you, it is such a great place to go for at anytime!

And the restaurant not only gamed for their delicious western delights but they offer more than that where one can enjoy some awesome Chinese dishes here! Unique right?

Deep-Fried Spicy Chicken with Dried Chili (RM 45)
We started off with their Deep-Fried Spicy Chicken with Dried Chili (RM 45) which was one of our favorites. We really enjoyed how the chicken was fried. Perfect and came with the robust flavours of the chili peppers, Sichuan Peppercorns and Dried Chili. Well paired with a jug of beer of course!

Sizzling Skewered Lamb in Hunan Style (RM 55)
Jerry just loved this. He doesn’t mind having all on his own. The skewers were perfectly grilled with no gammy smell on it. The 150g of Lamb was excellently grilled with salt, both whole and ground cumin, white pepper and chili powder. The meat  was just so tender and juicy.

Lobster Tail with Sichuan Gravy (RM 96)
I am just falling in love with the pipping hot and spicy soup. The Lobster Tail was sautéed with onions, white radish, carrots, onions and chili. The portion was so generous as they are packed with chunks of lobster meat beneath. Worth for the price of it. And this was perfect to warm my tummy especially at the cold Sky Avenue. Such a tummy warming dish to have at the cold weather.

Seafood Platter (RM 220)
The Seafood Platter comes with generous portion of seafood in one goal. You can have a dozen of green mussels with tomato coulis, stuffed otak otak calamari, cheesy baked dory as well as a dozen of the grilled prawns skewers. Sides with the sweet potato fries. Well, I was pretty in love with the prawns skewers here which was simply packed with flavours in it.

Not just that, the calamari comes with the local twist which won our hearts. Loved the otak otak that is complete with robust Malaysian flavours. A nice appetizers to have here!

Spicy US Scallop Squid Ink Linguine Paste (RM68)
The Squid Ink Pasta was generous in portion. Cooked al-dente, the linguine was perfectly tossed with the garlic and chili. Served with the large juicy pan -seared US Scallops with it. It was delicious but was kinda spicy to my taste -buds. However, we loved it so much and don’t mind with the kick of the spiciness in it.

Durian Cream Puff
We ended  with the Durian Cream Puff. Crispy at the outside, and with the durian cream in the inside. Love the rich and creamy blend of durian  in it. Nice and I am loving it.

Sizzling Brownies (RM 32)
Addictively delicious and the sizzling brownies was one of our favourites. Enjoy the rich chocolate ganache and a scope of vanilla ice cream in the hot cast iron pan. Awesomelicious!

Carlsberg Beer, Connor’s Stout, 1 mug size
Ends our meals with their Happy Hour Price for beer here. Grab a mug of Carlsberg is only RM14, while a tower of Carlsberg costs only RM92. And whats more is 5 mugs of Carlsberg or Connor’s is priced at RM 61 (only from Monday till Thursday, promo till 16 Sept 2018). Asides from beer, they do serve wine and liquor too.

And now, they have  great promotions weekly too. Do checkout them:

And now is time to enjoy the delicious meal at Nicsmann 1940s By Lewré Sky Avenue Genting.
