RIVER PRAWN INSPIRATIONS AT PLAZA ATHENEE BANGKOK, A ROYAL MERIDIEN HOTEL

When one of Bangkok’s most accomplished Thai chefs, Jasvir, decides to be inspired by prime fresh river prawns, the result is an uncommon menu destined to furnish sensitive palates with fresh perspectives.  Such is the case throughout January to March 2016, as Smooth Curry gourmet Thai restaurant at Level 03, Plaza Athénée Bangkok, a Royal Méridien Hotel presents a selection of five instant classic dishes that tease out all the intriguing flavour + texture from the pick of the local river prawn catch. Chef Jasvir’s mouth –watering menu includes:

 Fluffy deep-fried marinated prawn with sweet shrimps sauce and betel leaves (THB 590++)
 Spicy mixed fruit salad with grilled river prawn (THB 420++)
 Deep-fried river prawn topped with sweet + sour + spicy chili sauce (THB 590++ net)
 Fried river prawn in chili, yellow curry sauce (THB 590++)
 River prawn in Massaman curry smooth curry style (THB 590++)
