A ROMANTIC CHRISTMAS DINING @ TAMARIND HILL

December 24, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

During the moments of Christmas, it would be fun to get sometime together with families and enjoy good meals. In Tamarind Hill, they welcome us with the delicious Christmas temptations for this round.
tamarind hill
We started off with the Grilled Hokkaido Scallop with Thai Spicy Salad (RM 47.00) where the Hokkaido Scallop comes simply pulpy. Topped with it is the sweet and sourish delight with the light spiciness in it. I love the way it is served where the blend of appetizing scallops together with the spicy salad is just so appetizing and mouthwatering too.

Moving next is the Pan Seared Red Snapper with the Thai Pomelo Salad (RM 49.00). The red snapper had being cut into slices and it is then being deep fried till perfection leaving us with the crispy sensation. It is then being added with the appetizing Thai Pomelo Salad which give a kick of spiciness and the taste is incredibly good. I love the way it is served with the kick of spiciness in it.

Moving to the soup, we are indeed falling in love with the savory pumpkin seafood soup (RM 42.00). The soup comes pretty creamy with the blend of pumpkin in it and each mouthful is filled with the fragrant blend of aromatic basil taste in it.
tamarind hill
As for the main, we had the White Cod in Sour and Spicy Curry (RM 78). The cod fish is well cooked in the sour and spicy curry with the hint of light sweetness in it. The fish comes with generous portion of flaky fish meat.
tamarind hill
Next we had the Roasted Turkey With Massaman Curry (RM 53.00), The Massaman Curry comes pretty thick but the turkey meat which is cooked together still remains at its moist texture of meat with it. The lovely fragrant blend of the turkey meat together with the thick curry brings us with the light umpph!

Huge lobsters are served on the table. Aw!! Is indeed eye catching when I look at it! The Steamed River Lobster with Salted Egg (RM 52.00) comes interesting good where the lobster is being steamed and added with the light and yet creamy blend of salted egg on top. The savory blends from the salted egg make a great combination with the delicious sweet lobster meat

For beef lover, try their Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Green Curry Reduction (RM 77.00). The beef tenderloin which is being grilled till perfection with the moist texture of meat is simply lovely. Served together with the green curry reduction, you can get the taste of the fragrant green curry in it. I want anoher bowl of rice to go with it.
tamarind hill
For the dessert, remember to get youself with the Tamarind Hill signature temptations. We are being pampered with the Stuffed Sago In Coconut Milk (RM 23). The chessnut is being wrapped with the pandan base sago with it. Served together in the creamy coconut milk. Melts in the mouth with the crisp of the chessnut in it. Nicely done.

tamarind hill
As for the Chocolate Coated Banana stuffed with Rice Pop and Grated Coconut Served with Green Tea Ice Cream (RM 25); the serving comes pretty unique. The banana is being cutted and added the rice pop and gratted coconut. Then added with flour and deep fried till perfection. Glazed with chocolate sauce on to and it is being served with a scope of green tea ice cream with it.

tamarind hill
Last but not least is the Garden Tricolor sticky Rice Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream (RM23). This is where the icy blend of vanilla ice cream is being served together with the generous portions of fruits and also with the bed of silky sticky rice in it. Awesomely good!

Why not make your way to Tamarind Hill for a romantic Christmas meal.
