DAZZLING CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR AT HARBOUR GRAND HONG KONG

A dazzling festive season begins once guests step into the splendid lobby of Harbour Grand Hong Kong with our signature gigantic crystal Christmas tree. The hotel will be in full Christmas spirit as it has prepared a plethora of exquisite dishes in all of its restaurants for a yuletide season to be remembered. With pyrotechnics display arranged at the Victoria Harbour during the count-down moment on New Year’s Eve, secure your seats at Le 188˚ Restaurant & Lounge, Harbour Grand Café and Kwan Cheuk Heen in order to enjoy great food and wine while speculating the glamorous show and welcome year 2015!

Le 188˚ Restaurant & Lounge

Join Chef de Cuisine Roland Schwarzenbach for a tempting 7-course set dinner on Christmas Eve and start with Alaska King Crab Leg with Marinated Honey Drew Melon, Capers and Wasabi Mousse, Roasted French Quail and Pan-seared Canadian Lobster. And don’t miss the Veal Consomme and Gazpacho Sobert before you opt for your choice of main courses from 3 selections – Crusted Fillet of French Turbot with Baby Fennel, Beetroot, Leek and Raspberries Bechamel Sauce, US Beef Fillet With Black Truffle, French Duck Grass, Artichoke and Horseradish Sauce or Roasted Butterball Turkey Roll with Foie Gras, Chestnut, Cranberry Jelly, Turkey Gravy, Pumpkin Puree and Brussels. Round off your perfect evening with Christmas White Chocolate Mousse with Cinnamon ice-cream as dessert. The set dinner is priced at HK$1,688* per person.

On Christmas Day, at HK$1,288* per person, guests can celebrate with a set dinner which includes highlights of Fresh Scallop Mousse with Baby Spinach, Beetroot and Salmon Roe, Pan-seared Red Garoupa Fillet with Cordy Ceps Risotto, Cucumber and Champagne Butter Sauce, Grilled Venison Rack with Polenta Cake, Wild Mushroom and Balsamico Sauce as well as Hazelnut and Chestnut Christmas Log with Champagne Peach.

Round off year 2014 with a sumptuous 7-course sumptuous dinner on New Year’s Eve with Spicy Lobster Salad, Roasted French Pigeon with Caramelized Plum, Onion Puree and Port Wine Jelly, and choice of mains which includes Butter Seared French Dover Sole or Roasted Waygu Beef Tenderloin, followed by a sweet ending of Mango, Passion Fruit and Ginger Delight with Pistachio Ice-cream at HK$1,988* per person.

Harbour Grand Café

A plethora of festive items, including Christmas Yule Log and Christmas Turkey will be ready at the 80-feet long buffet station for gourmets during the Christmas season. An array of sumptuous dishes including Assorted Seafood on Ice (lobster, Alaskan Crab Legs, Shrimps, and freshly shucked oysters),  Beef Wellington, Prawn Cutlet with Tartar Sauce, Wok Fried Scallop with Seasonal Green, Sole Fillet with Almond and Herb Crust, as well as Christmas Pudding, are ready to satisfy your palate this special time of the year.

On New Year’s Eve, Chef will prepare a wide range of international gourmet for you to enjoy when counting down for the arrival of year 2015. To further enhance the festive joy, you should not miss Green Curry Lobster Claw, Tandoori Lamb Rack, Bacon and Asparagus Skewer, Glazed Ham and Assorted Dessert. Party favours are available for guests on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Santa Claus will visit Harbour Grand Hong Kong on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to give presents to kids as well!

Christmas Eve’s and Christmas Dinner Buffet starts from HK$688* per adult and HK$488* per child, with 2 seatings available. Kwan Cheuk Heen

A Christmas and New Year’s Eve feast does not necessary have to be western style. Chef Ki of Kwan Cheuk Heen has come up with two festive menus which include an abundance of Chinese delicacies that can satisfy you and your family’s palate. You can also enjoy the magnificent pyrotechnics display during the New Year countdown moment at Kwan Cheuk Heen. Menu price starts from HK$598* per person. Takeaway Menu & Hampers

Other than celebrating at the hotel, you can also order from our Christmas Takeaway Menu and revel in Christmas rendezvous at your choice of venue. A butterball turkey combo, priced from HK$1,100, which includes a 5 to 6kg roasted turkey with all the stuffing and sauces, home-made Christmas pie, Christmas pudding, Cream of roasted pumpkin soup as well as Rice in lotus leaf will save all your trouble.
