Commemorate the holy month of Ramadhan with the authentic taste of the nostalgia at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s Serena Brasserie as the esteemed restaurant launches P Ramlee inspired buffet feast showcasing the finest spread of Buka Puasa favorites available from June 28 to July 25, 2014

Star of the show for the coming ramadhan will be featuring the bygone years of the late Tan Sri Datuk Amaar Dr P. Ramlee with an evening of ambience and elegance. To honour the entertainment icon, Serena Brasserie transforms into a showcase into a showcase of the beloved artiste’s songs, films and styled to the theme.

The lavish “One Thousand and One Journey of Laksamana Do Re Mi” buffet intergrates extra sensory dining experience with live cooking station, authentic Malay speciality , Asia nadConyiental favourites and amle of desserts for sweet ending.

Started of the Aneka Kerabu Kampong Pening Lalat comes with all the sourish delights that includes the kerabu pucuk paku, kerabu manga muda dengan sotong, kerabu pucuk paku, paru goreng rempah, jeruk buah pala, jeruk cermai, kerabu betik muda and more. the yummilicious speciality just so good to pamper our tummy and it’s so appetizing which I could not say no to it.

A must for the fasting month comes well with the Kambing Bakar Saddiq Sigarana. The wholesome roasted whole lamb is being served together with the garlic and thyme and also rosted potatoes as well as the garlic rosemary sauce. Simply irrestible!Together with it; remember try their satay which is one of my favorites here too.The moist and juicy satay comes together with the peanut sauce is deliciously done.

Love to grab some delicious stall delights; they have Gerai Roti Pendekar Mustar where you can grab all the Malaysia favorites Indian delights which includes the Roti John, Roti Jala, Murtabak with dhall, vegetables curry and also onion pickles. Enjoy the Asam Pedas from their Asam Pedas counter too.

If you wanna have some light snacks like Keropok Lekor and Goreng Pisang, do pop at the Warung Goreng where you will be pamper with the crispy keropok lekor and goreng pisang too.

There is counter which have all the grilled items too where you can find the marinated grilled fish with sauces and condimentsMore than that; you can get some chicken rice from the Nasi Ayam stall En Jamil as well as Sotong Kangkung with sauces and condiments too.

From the buffet spread; remember to pamper with chef ‘s signature Malay delights where you will be assured to pamper your self with the daging gulai kawah, kari kepaka ikan, ikan patin masak lemak tempoyak, asparagus goreng belachan and more.

In additional with the savoring of the local dishes, “Santapan Menteri Fassola” host international flavours such as the chicken tandoori stir fried chicken “Kung Po” Style; Seafood Napolitana, Buttered Prawn and many more.

Desserts are also plentifull to be enjoyed. The Kedai Kuih Ibu Mertuaku had completes lots of the traditional desserts with the assorted malay kuih, kek keju perasa pandan, putu piring, bubur kacang hijau, dodol, kuih kopes, tapai and also some local fruits.

Experience the truly quaint berbuka puasa at Serena Brasserie during this holy month for a spectacular to remember with friends and family. It would be a walk down memory lane and a true amusement for fans of the award-winning fuilm actor and singer of popular movies such as the Bujang Lapok, Nasib Si Labu labi, Laksamana Do Re Mi and evergreen songs of Anakku Sazali, Kau Laksana Bulan and many more.

Spacious prayer room located at Level 5 is available dor the convenience of Muslim guests with separate male and female prayer rooms. The berbuka puasa buffet at Serena Brasserie is available June 27 to July 2014 from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm priced at RM 120++ per adult on 1st week (June 28-July 6) and 4th week ( July 21 – July 25) and RM 138++ per adult on the 2nd week (July 7th – July 13th ) and 3rd weel ( July 14- July 20). For group booking of 20 persons or more; 20% discount will be accorded.
