ITALIAN PASTA CARNIVAL AT AMERICAN ITALIAN RESTAURANT – MEZZO, REGAL KOWLOON HOTEL

May 14, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Offering American Italian cuisine, Mezzo is delighted to provide “Italian Pasta Carnival” for all pasta lovers. Selecting the classic pasta with special sauce, Mezzo proudly presents eight choices of Italian pasta for your enjoyment.

You are highly recommended to try the Chicken and Black Truffle Ravioli with Sage Butter Sauce. Our Chef has mixed black truffle to the minced chicken to produce the filling. The two flavours complement each other while the fragrant essence of black truffle is further enhanced by the sage butter sauce. Homemade Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Sauce is rich in tangy cheese taste as gorgonzola, one of the world’s oldest blue-veined cheeses, is specially used for preparing this pasta dish to offer a tasty choice. Strozzapreti with Peas, Prosciutto and Cream Sauce selects strozzapreti, one of the earliest pasta originated in Italy, to cook with salty parma ham in peas and cream sauce. The rolled S-shape pasta has embodied with sauce to provide mouthfuls of delicious taste. Orecchiette with Chicken and Pesto Sauce is also a good pick. “Orecchiette” is produced with classic recipe and named after its shape, which means the small cats’ ears. Its chewy texture matches perfectly with the refreshing pesto sauce and tender chicken to offer you an exceptional pasta experience.

“Italian Pasta Carnival” is available in both lunch and dinner periods until June 30, 2014. Don’t miss the chance to join this typical pasta carnival.
