The tossing of ‘Yee Sang’ (raw fish salad comprising a potpourri of flavourful ingredients such as shredded white radish, young ginger, yam chips, pomelo, preserved papaya, ground peanut, sesame seeds and lots more) is a Chinese tradition that beckons good luck, fortune, good health and longevity – it is believed that the higher you toss the colourful Yee Sang into the air while saying the auspicious words ‘loh sang’ aloud, the greater prosperity you will enjoy in the New Year.

At Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant, a selection of delicious Yee Sang is available, from the ever popular Salmon Yee Sang, Scallop Yee Sang, Pear & Salmon Yee Sang and Pacific Clam Yee Sang to the extravagant Abalone Yee Sang, specially prepared by Chef Thong and his skilled team.

These once-a-year delicacies are available in small and large portions, so you can celebrate the Lunar New year with your best friends, family or with your workmates. Yee Sang dishes priced from RM68.00++ onwards are available for lunch and dinner from January 6 – February 14, 2014.
