HAWKER TEMPTATIONS RAMADHAN FEAST AT PARKROYAL KUALA LUMPUR

June 8, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Make this Ramadhan a memorable one as PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur spoils you with a spread of perennial hawker dishes. Prepared a-la minute by our skilled chefs, this will definitely be an unforgettable  Ramadhan for the whole family.

Walk through our buffet line as well as the various live action stations ranging from carving, grill, noodles, satay, chicken rice, roti canai, local desserts and much more.At the chicken rice stall, Chatz Brasserie’s chicken rice is available in choices of steamed and roasted chicken. This year, savour the unique BBQ lamb together with rice, soup and condiments. Roti Canai, Roti Sardin, Chicken Murtabak and Chapati are freshly made to be eaten with Vegetable Dalcha and Chicken Curry. If you fancy some noodles, there are options of Mi Rebus, Prawn Mee and Wanton Noodles Soup.

At the satay corner, watch our chef in action as he grills skewered chicken, beef and tripe. The satay can be enjoyed with rice dumpling, cucumber, onion slices and spicy peanut sauce. While indulging, the chefs also recommend that main dishes such as the Udang Galah Goreng Mamak, fried with Indian spices should definitely be on your plate along with the Ikan Duri Masak Berlada as the mixture of spices and chilli paste provide a rich spicy taste.

These dishes can be eaten with steamed rice. A must have during Ramadhan is Ayam Percik. Juicy and tasty, it is roasted with spices, releasing a fragrant aroma. Looking for some exotic dishes at the same time? Have a go at Rendang Landak and Burung Unta Masak Halia. Cooked to perfection, this will be the beginning of an adventurous gastronomic  journey.

On the sweet side, you will definitely want to customise your own Ais Kacang along with condiments like red bean, cendol, sweet corn and grass jelly. Garnish it with some rose sugar syrup, palm sugar syrup and evaporated milk to complete it. Savouries such as Sago Gula Melaka, Kuih Seri Muka, Pulut Panggangand Bubur Cha-cha are also delicately prepared for your sweet indulgence. The Ramadhan special gruel is the Bubur Kacang Hijau Durian. If you are lucky, you will taste chunks of durian flesh in your green bean porridge.

With four menus on rotation daily, ‘Hawker Temptations Ramadhan Feast’ at Chatz Brasserie is available from 10 July until 7 August, from 7 pm to 10:30 pm daily. The buffet is priced at RM98++ per adult and RM49++ per child. Break fast with us from 10 – 16 July and you are specially entitled to enjoy 40% off.
