PAMPER YOUR MOTHER WITH WATAMI’S SPECIAL “MOTHER’S DAY” PROMOTION

May 7, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

For Mother’s Day this year, Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant Malaysia has decided to show their appreciation for the significant women in our lives through a special promotion exclusively for mothers.

On this day, diners accompanied by their mothers and wives will be delighted to hear that the Matcha Tiramisu and Chocolate Fondant Pudding are complimentary with any purchased main dish. Watami believes that mothers should be cherished, and thus, all mothers who dine at Watami will receive a free dessert.

The Matcha Tiramisu is an italian-inspired desert but with a Watami twist as pure matcha, or powdered green tea, is gently infused with the rich mascarpone cream to give a bittersweet flavour reminiscent of a mother’s love. The cream is then layered upon a bed of crumbed ladyfinger biscuits dipped in coffee, before finally being garnished with a light blanket of matcha on top. The translation of the name “tiramisu” means “pick-me-up” or “make-me-happy” and is certainly the perfect way to show appreciation to all mothers.

Diners, and mothers, looking for a hearty flavour will find delight in Watami’s Chocolate Fondant Pudding dessert. Its fluffy chocolate cocoon of cake hides a lake of molten chocolate that exudes an intense chocolate flavour guaranteed to have diners licking their plates. A popular way to enjoy chocolate fondant pudding is to accompany it with ice-cream; and Watami holds a small, but impressive array of flavours in its repertoire. Diners can choose to accompany their chocolate dessert with either classic vanilla, decadent chocolate, fragrant sesame or Japanese green tea flavoured ice cream, resulting in an engagement of elegant flavours and aromas.

Members of Chaswood’s Pinch of Salt loyalty program will be pleased to know that Watami will be offering a free Matcha Tiramisu or Chocolate Fondant Pudding dessert for all mothers with the minimum purchase of RM80 or above for any drink or meal throughout the month of May until June. Despite being limited to one redemption per table, members are more than welcome to redeem this multiple times with any transaction over RM80.

For reservations or more on Watami’s “Mother’s Day” promotion, kindly contact the individual Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant outlets at 03-2141 6671 (Pavilion KL), 03-7727 1399 (1Utama) and 03-7886 9661 (Paradigm Mall); email [email protected] or log on to www.facebook.com/watami.my
