SQUITTO, GURNEY PLAZA

February 21, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Squito in Gurney Plaza is a new icon in the mall where you can enjoy the food all the way from Tai Chung, Taiwan. The little kiosk is well located at the lower ground of the Gurney Plaza and you can spot it very easily where it is just opposite Purple Cane Tea Shop. The origin of the Squito is basically from the famous Fengjia Night Market (逢甲夜市).

– The Squids-
– The Squids-

The little kiosk serving the squids whcih is approximately 6 inches each and it is being stuffed with seafood There are 4 standard international flavors available such as the French Honey Mustard Sauce (法式蜂蜜芥末醬), Japanese Sesame (Goma) Sauce (日式和風芝麻沙拉醬), Thai Hot & Sour Sauce (泰式酸辣醬) and Italian Basil Green Sauce(意式羅勒青醬). I am being recommended by the seller with the French Honey Mustard Sauce (法式蜂蜜芥末醬) which is the best seller. This is where the Giant squids are being stuffed with the scrumptious seafood rice and the giant squids which is laid on top of the fresh vegetables. The portion is quite a big one with the stuffed baked rice. As for me, I does not really love the taste of it especially the baked rice which is slightly sticky to me.
Taste: 2/5
Price: RM 8.90 each.
