CAFE MARCO’S “THE GREAT BANQUET OF CHINA” IS BEING EXTENDED! LAST CHANCE TO SAVOUR THIS EPIC GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE AT MARCO POLO HONGKONG HOTEL

March 30, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Due to overwhelming demand, Cafe Marco has extended “The Great Banquet of China” promotion until 30 April 2016. This epic culinary buffet presents Chinese banquet delicacies, including an array of abalone highlights throughout March and seasonal prawn specialties during April. Don’t miss the last opportunity to savour this highly popular gourmet event.

“The Great Banquet of China” is celebrated daily during lunch and dinner at Cafe Marco. The extensive selection is inspired by an authentic Chinese wedding banquet, showcasing cherished dishes such as Steamed lobster with garlic; Steamed abalone with chenpi and ginger; and Braised fish maw or sea cucumber with mushroom oyster sauce.

In March, Cafe Marco’s talented team of Chinese chefs will also present premium abalone prepared in a variety of ways. Highlights include Wok-fried Taiwan abalone with ginger and spring onion; Doubled boiled Chilean abalone and silky fowl soup with cordyceps fungus served in individual pots; and the irresistible African abalone congee.

Throughout April, a rotating array of prawn specialties will be showcased at the buffet table during lunch and dinner periods. Pan-fried king prawn with ketchup; Wok-fried prawn with ginger and spring onion; Prawn churrasco and the unique Grilled king prawn marinated with acai berries are among the mouth-watering options. As an additional treat in April, each adult guest will be offered a complimentary Double-boiled bird’s nest with almond milk dessert upon patronage of the lunch or dinner buffets.
