STEP INTO A WHIMSICAL ‘LOK LOK AND FRIENDS’ CHRISTMAS AT MOP KLIA SEPANG

December 17, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang (MOP KLIA), Japan’s premier branded factory outlet mall, is turning the holiday season into a laughter-filled adventure with the comical Lok Lok & Friends! From 1 to 31 December 2025, shoppers can soak in the festive cheer as the quirky crew brings the mall to life with playful antics, whimsical décor, fun activities, and irresistible year-end deals — making MOP KLIA Sepang the ultimate destination for holiday joy and laughter.

Upon entering the mall, visitors will be transported into the whimsical world of Lok Lok & Friends, brought to life through vibrant decorations and light-hearted installations inspired by the popular Malaysian webcomic. The beloved characters infuse the space with their signature wit and charm, turning every corner into a lively showcase of local creativity and Christmas spirit.

TJ Cheah, Deputy Managing Director of MFMA Development, said, “This year, we’re putting a playful twist on the festive season with Lok Lok & Friends. Christmas is a time of laughter, joy, and gratitude — values that perfectly reflect the charm of these beloved characters. Through this collaboration, we hope to spread cheer and create meaningful moments for shoppers of all ages, especially Malaysians, as they celebrate the spirit of togetherness at MOP KLIA.”

To complement the festive excitement, the factory outlet mall has lined up a host of holiday activities and performances, shopping promotions, and exclusive rewards for visitors throughout December.

“Shoppers can look forward to special year-end sales from participating brands, interactive games, and entertaining weekend performances that bring the mall to life with festive energy. Additionally, families and friends can also take the opportunity to capture picture-perfect moments with the Lok Lok & Friends installations dotted around the mall, “added Cheah.

One of the main highlights of the celebration is the interactive Secret Santa’s Hunt, taking centre stage at Sunshine Square from 1 to 31 December. Shoppers who spend RM300 in two receipts can redeem an entry to pick from a display of giant Christmas socks, each hiding a mystery surprise ball. Inside, lucky participants may uncover exclusive vouchers and prizes worth up to RM500, including a daily Grand Prize. Redemptions can be done daily from 12pm to 7pm, and are limited to 100 entries per day, adding an extra thrill to the festive hunt.

Embracing the spirit of gifting, MOP KLIA is also rewarding shoppers with an exclusive treat this festive season. Throughout the campaign, visitors who spend a minimum of RM800 in a maximum of two receipts at any outlet can redeem a limited-edition MOP KLIA merchandise at the Information Counter, Ground Floor. Redemptions are limited to the first 100 eligible customers daily and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last — the perfect keepsake to remember a season of joyful shopping.

For continuous entertainment throughout the festive season, MOP KLIA’s “Christmas Cheer” programme will run every weekend in December and on Christmas Day, featuring lively music, dance, and family-friendly performances including Santa walkabouts, Santa & Santarina dance shows, festive caroling, and musical acts. Adding to the fun, shoppers can also enjoy Christmas mascot meet-and-greet sessions on 20 and 21 December 2025, 3pm at Sunshine Square, where families and friends can capture cheerful moments and revel in the holiday spirit together.

Children are also invited to join in the festive fun with hands-on DIY workshops, where they can craft Christmas ornaments from 6 to 7 December and create their very own Santa clay figurines from 13 to 14 December. To keep the excitement going, they can also show off their most creative festive outfits in the Christmas Costume Competition on 20 December, adding even more cheer and laughter to the celebrations.

To enhance the shopping experience, MOP KLIA will offer a complimentary gift-wrapping service at Sunshine Square from 11 to 23 December for those who spend a minimum of RM200. Shoppers can also enjoy exciting pre-holiday promotions, including the popular Black Friday Specials on 28 and 29 November. As part of the festive rewards, shoppers will receive RM50 and RM10 cash vouchers (terms and conditions apply), giving them an extra reason to celebrate. The RM50 voucher can be redeemed with a minimum spend of RM300 in a single transaction from 8pm onwards, while the RM10 voucher can be used with a minimum spend of RM100.

For those starting their holiday shopping early, the popular Coach Year-End Sale will run from 11 to 30 November at Sunshine Square, featuring discounts of up to 70% and special gift-with-purchase offers. Lastly, the Mitsui Shopping Park MY App Member Lounge, open every weekend in December at Forest Walk, offers new users a RM10 voucher upon downloading the app and a chance to spin the Lucky Wheel for existing members.

With Lok Lok & Friends leading the festive fun, along with interactive activities, creative workshops, lively performances, and exclusive shopping treats – MOP KLIA is the place to be this Christmas! Don’t miss the chance to spread cheer and create magical memories with your loved ones.

MOP KLIA is strategically located just 8 minutes away from KLIA (Terminal 1) and KLIA 2 (Terminal 2) and approximately 45 minutes from KL City Centre. The outlet mall is easily accessible through various highways such as ELITE, LDP, KESAS, MAJU Expressway, North South Expressway Central Link, and NKVE. Getting to MOP KLIA is also convenient as there are ample public transportation services available.
