On Lee Brings Authentic Hong Kong Comfort to Pavilion KL

November 17, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

The taste of Hong Kong has landed in the heart of Bukit Bintang. On Lee, famed for its nostalgic cha chaan teng-style flavours and hearty bowls of noodles, has officially opened its newest outlet at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, inviting diners to savour Hong Kong’s timeless comfort dishes — from silky noodles in rich broths to golden toasts dripping with condensed milk.

A Hong Kong Classic, Reinvented

At the heart of On Lee’s menu lies its signature noodle selection, a true reflection of Hong Kong’s street food culture. Diners can now fully customise their bowl — choosing between fish broth or beef broth, both simmered for hours to achieve a rich, comforting depth of flavour.

Each bowl can be paired with your preferred noodles — from thick noodles, thin noodles, rice noodles to mee hoon — ensuring every diner enjoys a perfectly tailored experience.

The classic Fish Ball Noodles and Sliced Fish Cake Noodles shine with their clean, delicate flavours and satisfying textures, making them perfect for both light lunches and hearty dinners.

Comfort Food, Elevated

For those seeking a more indulgent bite, the Braised Beef Brisket Noodles (RM32) is a must-try. This crowd favourite comes with tender chunks of slow-braised brisket and a variety of accompaniments including fish balls, sliced fish cakes, wontons, beef balls, and cuttlefish balls — creating a medley of textures and flavours in every spoonful.

Meanwhile, the HK Style Steamed Chicken Rice (RM26) delivers classic comfort with its fragrant rice and tender chicken, while the Soy Chicken Wings offer a savoury, umami-rich flavour that keeps diners coming back for more.

Spice lovers can’t miss the Super Spicy HK Style Curry Fish Balls — a fiery street-style snack that pairs perfectly with Hong Kong milk tea or iced lemon tea.

Sweet Nostalgia

No Hong Kong meal is complete without a side of toast, and On Lee serves it just right — Toast with Margarine, Condensed Milk, Peanut Butter & Jam, toasted to golden perfection and dripping with nostalgic sweetness.

It’s simple, familiar, and utterly satisfying — the kind of comfort that feels like home, even if home is hundreds of miles away.

A True Taste of Hong Kong in KL

Bringing together traditional recipes, modern comfort, and the buzz of Pavilion KL, On Lee is redefining cha chaan teng dining in Malaysia. Whether you’re slurping noodles on a busy weekday or lingering over toast and milk tea on a weekend afternoon, On Lee promises an authentic Hong Kong experience — right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
