Cadbury Dairy Milk invites Malaysians to embrace generosity by pledging “For You, I Would”

August 22, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Are you a generous person? Most of us would agree that Malaysians are a pretty caring and generous bunch, and we should be proud of this.

As we go about our busy lives, however, it’s sometimes easy to get caught up in big acts of giving to the point we may forget that a simple gesture or act of generosity can mean just as much to our loved ones. On a daily basis, there are opportunities to give just a little bit more of ourselves to our families, friends, and even strangers if the occasion arises. So, what would you do for those closest to you?

Cadbury Dairy Milk Malaysia has launched the heartwarming “For You, I Would” campaign that aims to recognize simple yet powerful acts of giving that truly connect us. As part of its ongoing commitment to drive generosity, Cadbury Dairy Milk is inviting Malaysians to pledge “For You, I would”.

It could be a simple sacrifice such as foregoing a night out to spend time with a grandparent or helping your kid brother with his homework instead of spending the time browsing social media. It could even be thoughtfulness such as making your tired-looking colleague a cup of coffee or sitting through a boring event just to keep your loved one company.

Mei Sin See, Marketing Director, Mondelēz Malaysia & Singapore said, “Generosity is the cornerstone of a strong, united community, and brings people closer. Through the ‘For You I Would’ campaign, we want to celebrate the kindness that already exists within our society and encourage more Malaysians to take part in this culture of caring for others. Whether it’s by giving our time, doing something for someone or stepping out of our comfort zones to make someone you love happy, these simple and small gestures of giving can make a significant and meaningful difference in our lives and those around us. We believe that everyone has a little more to give.”

A dedicated microsite (Cadbury.com.my/messages) is a platform for Malaysians to share their stories of generosity, enabling them to make their very own “For you, I Would” pledge directly on a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk to be shared with their loved ones.

Cadbury has developed a series of short films and billboards showcasing relatable scenarios of people going the extra mile for each other. To further amplify the campaign, popular influencers will also be sharing their commitments, inspiring audiences to spend time and connect with their loved ones.
