Kaw Kaw Pak Kopi @ SS2

December 15, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Kaw Kaw Pak Kopi SS2 is consistently brimming with customers every time we stroll by. Upon closer exploration, we discovered that this eatery boasts several branches across the Klang Valley, with a presence in Sri Petaling as well.

The prevailing trend in the F&B scene leans heavily towards Hainanese and oriental culinary delights. Items like white coffee, kaya toast, and Chinese pastries hold an irresistible appeal, effortlessly drawing in a crowd.

As you step into the restaurant, a wave of nostalgia washes over you. The decor echoes the ambiance of a bygone era, reminiscent of the classic kopitiam setting. And the extensive menu caters to a diverse range of tastes, featuring noodles, pastries, and rice dishes.

A standout among their offerings is the Hakka Handmade Noodles (RM 8.80). This dish is an absolute must-try, with noodles that boast a delightful bounce and chewiness. Served with minced pork, bean sprouts, and fishballs, it’s a symphony of flavors and textures.

Our culinary exploration didn’t stop there. The Ipoh Style Chee Cheong Fun (RM 7.50) left a distinct impression. Unlike many renditions, this one leans towards a sweeter sauce profile. The noodles are a slurp-worthy delight, adorned with the crunch of fried shallots and a sprinkle of sesame.

In a nutshell, the overall dining experience at Kaw Kaw Pak Kopi SS2 is nothing short of satisfying. The diverse menu, authentic flavors, and nostalgic ambiance come together to create an enjoyable culinary escapade.
