Experience Culinary Excellence with Renowned Japanese Chef Hiroshi Masuda at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel

August 14, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel & Residences is embracing the culinary expertise of renowned Japanese chef Hiroshi Masuda, celebrated for his mastery in the art of “Kaiseki” cuisine, the epitome of Japanese gastronomy. From the 1st to the 30th of August 2023, the esteemed Sedap Restaurant will play host to Chef Hiroshi’s guest chef dinner series.

With a specialization in “Kaiseki” cuisine, Chef Hiroshi will take center stage at Sedap Restaurant, presenting an array of his exquisite Japanese signature dishes, elegantly presented in buffet style. This Japanese-themed buffet will remain a delight for guests to savor throughout the month of August.

The dinner buffet extravaganza promises to be a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese fare, spanning appetizers, main courses, delectable desserts, premium seafood, local delicacies, and international offerings. Among the culinary delights that Chef Hiroshi will personally oversee are the fine art of sashimi slicing, crafting his signature sushi creations, the preparation of mouthwatering grilled black cod teriyaki, and the skillful execution of live tempura stations.

Hailing from a background of culinary experiences across the globe, including Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Dubai, Russia, Germany, and Japan, Chef Hiroshi’s expertise shines through. His recent accolades include participation as one of the contestants in the esteemed Iron Chef Thailand Competition.

Throughout this month-long gastronomic celebration, diners will have the unique opportunity to savor the essence of Japanese cuisine woven into each dish, reflecting Chef Hiroshi’s meticulous attention to detail and passion for his craft.

Amidst an array of culinary delights, guests can relish an array of offerings beyond the fresh sashimi, nigiri, and sushi. Chef Hiroshi will present an assortment of delicate dishes curated from the finest ingredients, prepared using traditional Japanese cooking methods. Indulge in grilled lamb chop with wasabi miso, salmon teriyaki, beef katsu Japanese schnitzel, simmered chicken and vegetables in the renowned “Chikuzen ni” style, and a variety of other captivating creations.

Complementing the culinary journey, the Japanese Food Buffet will also offer a range of popular Japanese beverages, including Japanese green tea, Japanese roasted green tea, Japanese genmaicha, and Japanese Barley tea.

The dinner buffet, featuring captivating live stations, is available by advance reservation. It is priced at RM238 per adult and RM119 per child (aged 6 – 12 years old), inclusive of 6% service tax. It’s recommended to make reservations early to secure your place at this remarkable culinary experience.

As part of the Japanese Food Dinner Buffet promotion, Pullman KLCC has partnered with GYOMU Super (Malaysia) to establish a Japanese pop-up store in the hotel lobby. This pop-up store offers an authentic range of food products imported directly from manufacturers in 45 countries. The Japanese pop-up store will be available on two Sundays, specifically on the 6th and 13th of August 2023, from 10 am to 6 pm.
