Wong Kee Chicken Rice: Best Chicken Rice in PJ

May 5, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Wong Kee Chicken Rice is a well-known restaurant in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The restaurant has been around for many years, and its reputation for serving delicious chicken rice has only grown stronger over time. Many loyal customers, including myself and my husband, have been dining at Wong Kee for over 11 years.

Previously, Wong Kee was part of Hong Seng Restaurant, a corner coffeeshop located across the road. However, they have since opened their own chicken rice restaurant, much to the delight of their customers.

One of the things that sets Wong Kee Chicken Rice apart from other chicken rice restaurants is their commitment to freshness. Their chicken is freshly prepared at the back of the restaurant, ensuring that customers can enjoy their meal in no time. It is no wonder that their chicken rice is always in high demand, with customers often having to queue up to get their hands on it.

The chicken served at Wong Kee Chicken Rice is incredibly tender and juicy, with a mouth-watering aroma that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. Each bite is filled with flavor, and it is not surprising that customers keep coming back for more. Personally, I find myself craving Wong Kee’s chicken rice every month, and I make it a point to visit the restaurant regularly.

Ohya, do order their siew yok too! The siew yok is awesomely delicious with the crispy bites on the skin. Perfectly roasted.

Overall, Wong Kee Chicken Rice is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves chicken rice. With its commitment to freshness and delicious food, it is no surprise that it has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
