Family Staycation @ ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Sri Damansara

July 11, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Nestled in the suburban Sri Damansara, ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Sri Damansara is just a stone’s throw away from Kuala Lumpur City Centre and provides easy access to some of the best shopping and entertainment destinations such as the largest mall in Malaysia – 1 Utama Shopping Centre to local tourist attractions like Batu Caves and Zoo Negara.

Located just nearby the MRT station, one can access easily to many places around Kulal Lumpur. And this time, we have our staycation off the city at the ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur with our family. As it is well located in Sri Damansara, the hotel area is surrounded by industrial businesses as well as quite a number of F&B.

Walking in; we are greeted with a smile and warm welcome. A cozy and helpful staff helped us with our bags. The Check-in process is quite fast and hassle-free and we are then led to our room.

Oh ya, the lobby interior is amazingly beautiful. You definitely bask in the charming lobby interior – its high ceiling and window walls let in natural light to give off warm and cozy vibes, perfect for lounging with a good book and a cup of espresso.

Walking to the room, the space is clean and well maintained. Love the colours too!

THE ROOM

We had a family room which is pretty spacious for a family of 4 to stay in. The room is complete with a small and cozy living room with a tv and a sofa bed. On the side; you can spot the catchy working space which comes with the colorful and yet comfortable chair.

As for the bed, they are fitted with the Sweet Bed by ibis, innovative in-house bedding designed by the Ibis Research Department.  With plump pillows, an airy duvet, and a firm foam mattress with an extra-dense 7cm Ibis topper, this custom-made Sweet Bed prides itself on giving you the coziest sleeping experience. This is indeed a nice cozy bed where my little one just dozed off in minutes sleeping on the bed. The bed is so comfortable that we do not want to get out of bed.

And they come with a cozy sofa chair at the side which is simply a relaxation overlooking the MRT station.

Asides from that, the room completes with a 32-inch LCD TV, a standing shower, and an electronic safe. There is also a mini-fridge too.

They also come with basic necessities which come in vibrant color too.

FACALITIES

The hotel is completed with a fitness center, an all-day-dining restaurant – sTreats Café and a bar sTreats Bar. For those who love to dine in their restaurant, they have quite a wide choice of food offerings where you can go from Western, Thai and Local delights too.

The food here is good and the service is indeed a double thumbs up

Overall Experience

Overall, the stay was a pleasant one. Our girls love the stay and the wifi connection is awesome. The room is cozy and clean which gives a double thumbs up. It is nearby the MRT station and it is walkable which it make a plus for those who are looking to explore KL and beyond. They do have ample parking space for those who are driving.
