Over The Moon with Dorsett Grand Subang

August 1, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

The mid-autumn festival is but less than 2 months away but with the current ‘evolving situation’, why not perk ourselves up a bit and embark on a noteworthy mooncake journey with some old favourites alongside new flavour, all lovingly hand-curated by Master Chef Chan of The Emperor Chinese Restaurant at Dorsett Grand Subang?

The award winning Musang King Durian Crystal Skin mooncake with its rich and creamy durian pulp wrapped in ultra-light soft snowskin is of course a must have together with our famed signature Dorsett Blue mooncake of white lotus paste with single yolk wrapped with organic blue pea flower infused crystal skin.  Both are best kept chilled for ultimate enjoyment.

Other crystal skin mooncakes variation available include the red bean paste and making its maiden appearance is the Mango Lotus with Custard mooncake…, a delightful mooncake with hints of this lovely summer fruit with a pinch of creamy custard saltiness.

For the traditionalists, there are the perennial favourites ranging from White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Pure White Lotus Paste (for those who prefer less sugar intake), the fragrant Pandan Lotus Paste with Single Yolk to Pure Red Bean Paste.

Packaging

Crystal skin mooncakes come in a Eski Bag while traditional baked mooncakes come in a box which can be repurposed as a lantern for the young ones on 21st September when the family gathered together to appreciate the full moon at its finest or to be used as a storage box for a multitude of things.

Each packaging comes with 4 pieces of mooncakes and of course, individual pieces are available for sale too.  To order, log on to  https://dorsettbooking.com/malaysia/dgsmooncakes2021 or email:  [email protected] or WhatsApp:  +60 16 2011 248.

Partners

The hotel is also a merchant partner with both HSBC and Citibank, offering 20% off on purchases.  Citibank cardholders are also entitled to a cash voucher to the value of RM200 with purchases of 20 boxes and above in a single receipt.  Voucher can be used for dine-in, when possible at Dorsett Grand Subang or for takeaway meals and is valid for a period of 6 months from date of issue.

Pricing and Offers

Prices for the mooncakes range from RM30 per piece to RM53 per piece.  For orders made between now and 15th August 2021, 20% discount of total purchases will be accorded.

For bulk purchases, 20% for orders between 10 to 29 boxes and for 30 boxes and above, 25% off purchases in a single receipt.  FREE delivery included to one delivery point.

Dorsett’s mooncakes are all hand-curated, preservative free and halal certified.  Prices quoted in Ringgit Malaysia and inclusive of prevailing government taxes, where applicable.
