Bring on the ‘ONG’ this Chinese New Year with Tiger

December 29, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

As Chinese New Year is fast approaching, we look forward to a healthier, more prosperous and luckier year ahead. Tiger Beer, Malaysia’s No. 1 beer1, believes that a smoother year ahead starts with a bold change today to bring on the ‘ONG’. With that notion comes the limited edition Tiger Beer and Tiger Crystal cans.

The collectible cans in auspicious colours of red and gold are available in two sets of Tiger Beer and Tiger Crystal packaging. When combined, the characters on the cans will give you the greeting ‘Wang Shi Ru Yi’ which symbolises prosperity. Purchase one carton of Tiger Beer and one carton of Tiger Crystal to receive a set of two ‘Ong’ cans. Collect all four designs from 16th January until 10th February 2021 at selected outlets across Malaysia. Do visit https://tigercny.my/ to check out the festive Augmented Reality (AR) animation when you scan the ‘Wang’ and ‘Ru’ cans! You can also find all the promotions and ways to win ‘Ongsome’ prizes at the site.

To bring on the ‘Ong’ to consumers this year, Tiger Beer has introduced a series of promotions and attractive giveaways. From now until 15th February 2021, consumers who purchase big bottles of Tiger Beer (660ml) and Tiger Crystal (600ml) at participating restaurants, food courts or coffee shops, can check underneath their bottle caps for the ‘Ong’ characters  – “A”, “B”, “C” and “D” – representing different prizes to be won!  One “A” bottle cap wins consumers an ‘Ongsome’ Ang Pow of RM18,888, a “B” bottle cap allows a redemption of an ‘Ongsome’ Ang Pow worth RM388, a “C” bottle cap allows a redemption of an ‘Ongsome’ Ang Pow worth RM88, while collecting 12 bottle caps marked “D” allows customers to redeem an exclusive Tiger Ong Lai Bowl Set.

Shoppers at selected supermarkets and hypermarkets can purchase any two cartons of Tiger Beer, Tiger Crystal, Heineken® and Guinness, as well as one carton of Apple Fox Cider, to purchase the exclusive Tiger Rummy Set at RM99! To double the celebration, with every purchase above RM200 of Tiger Beer, Tiger Crystal and Apple Fox Cider, shoppers can redeem a Tiger Ong Lai Bowl Set. This promotion is available from 1st December until 15th January, while stocks last.
