OYO Malaysia Offers Work from Hotel from Only RM19

October 28, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

The recent extension of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) to 9 or 10 November in parts of the country including Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, around Nilai in Negeri Sembilan and in Sabah has meant that many Malaysians are seeing a longer Work From Home (WFH) period.

OYO understands that while staying safe is crucial, some Malaysians may need a more conducive workspace than what is available at home. Perhaps you need a quieter environment to work in – to avoid distractions during crunch times or important meetings, or simply a change of scenery to avoid the onset of cabin fever. With over 1,000 hotels throughout Malaysia, an OYO property might just be the right fit for those who are seeking to improve productivity while they are unable to work from the office.

“We saw a need among Malaysians and embraced the opportunity to offer an alternative workspace to those who are currently living with a large family or housemates, and who may not have a space where reliable internet connectivity. At an OYO property, you can be productive and practice physical distancing, from as low as RM19. We also welcome organisations that may be looking for an alternative workspace for their team members to speak to us at OYO,” said Tan Ming Luk, Country Head, Singapore & Malaysia, OYO Hotels & Homes.

OYO is offering discounts of 50% at their properties throughout the country with the use of the promo code “OYOSAVE50”. You can have your own personal space to work in peace and not worry about subpar Internet connections. All OYO properties offer clean bedrooms and bathrooms, WiFi, air conditioning and televisions.

Ming Luk added, “The growing concern surrounding a surge in new Covid-19 cases has increased interest in safer co-working spaces with greater emphasis on hygiene and sanitisation. The safety and wellbeing of our customers is always at the top of our list, and OYO wants to do our part in relieving the burdens that Malaysians are shouldering during these challenging times. With OYO’s ‘Sanitized Stays’ programme in place, you can confidently book properties displaying the ‘Sanitized Stays’ logo on the OYO App and Hotel Booking Platforms, and have peace of mind while you work, knowing that the cleaning and disinfection SOPs are in line with Ministry of Health recommendations.”
