Luckin Kopi @ Petaling Street

October 10, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Luckin Kopi is one of the latest additions in Petaling Street. The restaurant is housed in a 150 years old heritage building which brings you a twist of the modern-meet-old local “kopitiam” feel.

Asides, each corner of Luckin Kopi is also a perfect instagram friendly where one not just able to enjoy great meals with the comfort food variety but also in great ambiance.

No matter you are visiting the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they have loads to offer you. Luckin Kopi serves local Kopitiam Mix & Match during weekdays where the price is from RM 7.90. In here, you can enjoy your choice of nasi lemak, mee siam, chee cheong fun, indomee or toast with one half boiled egg, teh, kopi kaw or any 2 pieces of Nyonya Kuih. Each of their dishes is specially curated by the chef and the portion is generous too.

Luckin Kopi (RM 3.90 ( H) & RM 4.90 (C) ( ala-carte))
Enjoy your choice of coffee whether is hot or cold. Using their premium beans with the skills, you can enjoy the creamy and yet smooth aromatic coffee here.  And each cup of coffee is handcrafted pour-over heritage kopi.

You can enjoy their mee siam which is packed with the light kick of spiciness and sourish blend. Squeeze the lemon on top for a better twist. Sides with the sunny egg on top together with their homemade sambal, peanuts , crackers and cucumber.

If you are not a mee siam lover,  you can go for the Fried Indomee instead.

They also serve nasi lemak which is comes with the aromatic blend of santan in it.

One can also enjoy their Chee Cheong Fan (RM 8.90) and Fruit Rojak (RM 5) here.

For kuih lover, they do serve kuih in the box as well where the kuih are well packed in box which make it easy for take away. Grab your choice of Nyonya Kuih such as kuih talam and many more.

Geng Chow Chicken Bun ( RM12.90)

As for mains, they do have more varieties and choices too. They have the Geng Chow Chicken Bun ( RM12.90) that is filled with the chicken fillet together with the chef’s homemade sauce. Sandwiched between the fluffy soft steam mantao.

Petai Bun (RM 12.90)

Love it or Hate it!  And of course, is my favourite. The Petai Bun comes with the crunchy petai sambal which brings you with the aromatic and yet rich distinct flavours. Perfect to enjoy them with the 4 pieces of mantao that comes in the basket.

Asam Laksa (RM 9.90)

They also have the Hot & Sour Soup and Asam Laksa too . And what makes it special is where they are served like a mini hotpot where they have the portable gas stove below.

Salted Egg Chicken Rice (RM 11.90)

I am in love with the salted egg chicken rice where the chicken meat is being deep friend till perfection. It is then added with the creamy salted egg sauce on top. Yummz!

Petai Pasta (RM 20.90)
Aglio Olio Pasta (RM 19.90)

If you are not a rice person, you can go for their pasta selection. They have wide selection of pasta and the one captured me is of course the unique Petai Pasta.

Hainanese Chicken Chop(RM16.90)

If you prefer something western, go for their Hainanese CHicken Chop where the chicken meat is battered and deep fried till crunchiness. Topped with the Hainanese Sauce on top and sides with the healthy fried potaties,  cucumber, and tomatoes at the side.

Crispy Chicken & Fries (RM 26.90)

Influenced by the Korean Cuisine, Luckin Kopi do serve they own style of crispy chicken and fries. Served on the stone plate, enjoy your deep fried chicken together with the creamy oozoy cheese.

Overall, Luckin Kopi brings you with a wide choices of food from snacks, breakfast set as well as local, Italian and Western.
