Baan Kun Ya @ Centre Point : Awesome Thai Delights!

August 31, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Baan Kun Ya is one of my favourite dining places whenever it comes to Thai Food. In here, one can enjoy the decent Thai Delights with the great ambience all in one place. Bringing you with the Taste of Original Thai

Located at the first floor of Centre Point , Bandar Utama taking over Kitchen Creatures, you can find a decent Thai delights with great ambience. With a different concept of sitting places; one can visit the lovely restaurant which brings you with the great Thai delights.

Miang Kam (RM 22)
One of our favourites is their Miang Kam. The Leaf -Wrapped Salad Bite comes with the collection of ginger, dried shrimps, peanuts, shallots, lime and cili padi, wrapped in pieces of “Cha – Pu” leaf. Top it up with the special ‘Miang” sauce for a burst of flavours.

Spicy Glass Noodle with Seafood (RM25)
For those who love some kick of spiciness, grab this spicy glass noodles which is packed with kick of spiciness and topped with the fresh scallops, squids and juicy prawns.

Watermelon with sweet Powder Fish and Fried Shallots(RM18)
This is one of the interesting dish and ended to be my favourite dish. It is indeed a unique combination of the sweet juiciness watermelon with the crunchy anchovies and flavour shallots, added with a hint of spiciness.

Tom Yam Fresh Water Prawns(RM 45)
Another must try dish is the Tom Yam Gong. Everyone’s favourite spicy and sour hot soup, served with a generous selection of fresh water prawns and vegetables. The dish is impressively delicious and every mouthful is Such a UMPHH!

Grilled Lemongrass Chicken (RM 20)
Another must try here is of course the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken. One can enjoy the awesomely marinated chicken thighs with lemongrass juice and then grilled till perfection. It is served together with the sweet and sour spicy sauce for extra kick of spiciness in it!

Pineapple Fried Rice (RM 18)
Not to be miss if of course their pineapple fried rice which is perfectly garnished with the diced juicy pineapples, egg and cashew nuts. Such a hearty and awesome dish to go for and every mouthful is such a indulgence!

And of course , never go home without trying Baan Kun Ya desserts. Made in house with love, one must try some of their signatures includes  Coconut Jelly ( RM 12) , Look Choop and many more.

Look Choop (RM 8 |4 pcs/ RM 16| 8 pcs)
As for me, I love their cute Look Choop (RM 8 |4 pcs/ RM 16| 8 pcs) . Put in the fun to your desserts with these colorful mung bean candies. The mung beans are boiled in coconut milk and then wrapped in jelly skin and shaped as fun little fruits and vegetables.

Coconut Jelly (RM 3)
Very refreshing delights to look for where the jelly made from coconut milk and coconut juice is beautifully layered into bite size. Delicious!

Tub Thim Krub (RM 8)
And of course don’t miss out Tub Thim Krub. The sweet and refreshing bowl of desserts is filled with the generous water chestnut and topped with santan.Nice.

If you are looking for an authentic taste of Thai delights, Baan Kun Ya is your right choice!
