Dubai – Your Next Travel Destination As A Foodie!

June 15, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Dubai is one such place in the entire world that has witnessed a huge transformation in just 50 years. What was once a deserted place is now one of the most popular global destinations. It has the biggest shopping malls, manmade wonders, and tallest skyscrapers, along with multitude of luxurious hotels. While the outskirts of Dubai are surrounded by outrageously large deserts, the inside is a shimmering world. Besides everything, what binds people from different countries with Dubai is the ‘food.’

Every street and every mall of Dubai offers myriad of options to people from different parts of the world. Foodies enjoy pampering their taste buds and fulfil their cravings when they step into the world of Dubai cuisine.

Arabian cuisine: what you should know?
The cuisine of Arabia is an amalgamation of Middle Eastern, Indian, and Mediterranean food. Basically, migrating of Arabs and also non-Arabs from one country to other over decades has drastically brought a change in the Arab cuisine. In addition to this, there is an influence of Turkish and Persian foods on the Arabian cuisine as well.

Some of the most used ingredients in the Arab food include garlic, mint, tomato, yogurt, curry powder, spices, saffron, thyme, sesame, and mint. Coming to vegetables, they usually prefer tomato, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplants, and lettuce. Fish and lamb are common non vegetarian options here.

Accommodation: where you can stay?
Dubai not only has luxurious resorts and hotels, but there are economic, budgetary, and ideal cheap hotels at great price available as well. Travellers coming to Dubai with any budget can easily find their accommodations. However, one should make sure of reserving the hotels in advance. The best way to book hotels is through online portals.

Travel to Dubai: what are the options?
