Real Food @ 1 Mont Kiara

April 28, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

For vegans , it is indeed a secret and yet a hidden jewel. Real Food is self run by a team of passionate and stubborn individuals who believe food should made with only fresh and recognisable ingredients. The restaurant brings you with the meat free, organic, natural and inviting dishes that definitely blow you out.

The café comes with the wooden concept and they have a small grocer in front bringing where one can pick up some of their organic products home. They have wide choices ranging from the local produce, healthy snacks, supplements, condiments to skin care.

We started off with the Dumpling Soup (RM 22) where their dumpling are beautifully wrapped with much time and effort. With no less than 10 ingredients which includes carrots, mushroom, beancurd, French beans, turnips, celery and coriander. It is deliciously good with the robust mushroom flavours in it.

Next, we have the Sweet and Spicy Mushroom (RM 20) where the oyster mushroom are being fried battered. It is the stir – fried together with their sweet and sour sauce with the added garlic and chili flakes. Love the bites of the mushroom which comes simply crispy and juicy!

The Vegan Alfredo Pasta (RM 33) is definitely a must to try.  Grab this organic Fusilli, garden – fresh broccoli, cherry tomatoes, garlic and aromatic herbs in a delicious creamy cashew-based sauce. The pasta comes awesomely delicious and every mouthful is packed with the touch of  creaminess in it. The taste comes awesomely delicious and good!

Love pizza? They have loads of variety and one of them is the Kale Pesto Pizza (RM 39) where this thin crust kale pesto pizza is topped with the golden cheese and crispy kale at the top. A perfect indulgence for kale lovers.

Not to be missed is the Fried Vermicelli (RM 17) where the gluten free brown rice is well stir fried with the assorted vegetables, shitake mushroom, tamari and toasted sesame oil. Yummy

For desserts, they have wide variety of choices to go. One of the must to have is their Health by Chocolate (RM 18) which is made from the organic cocoa powder, avocado, organic coconut sugar, coconut oil , organic soy milk and also dates and almonds. The cakes comes thick and yet very creamy as well.

Tea lover should go for their Earl Grey Tea (RM 16.80) where the cakes comes completely fragrant with the light earl grey flavours in it. Nicely done!

For those who are looking for some child friendly and delicious vegan delights, Real Food is a place to visit.
