
With the arrival of spring this year, WIP at Bangsar Shopping Centre and SOULed OUT outlets across the country are welcoming patrons old and new to celebrate fortune, health and prosperity with authentically awesome experiences this Chinese New Year.

Available now and throughout the Chinese New Year festivities, friends and families will have the opportunity to ‘Loh Hei’ or ‘toss luck’ as they renew old ties and strengthen relationships at any SOULed OUT outlet across Malaysia. ‘Yee Sang’ specials start at RM25 per portion for groups of up to four people and comes in Salmon, Jellyfish, mixed Salmon & Jellyfish as well as Fruity Vegetarian varieties with the option to add extra Salmon, Jellyfish, Pear and ‘Bo Chui’ crackers. Larger ‘Yee Sang’ deals for up to six people are also available starting at RM35.
In conjunction with the spring festival, the limited time ‘Fortune Basket’ special is also currently available for RM20 at the Kuala Lumpur (Sri Hartamas), Ampang, Bangsar South, Taman Tun and Kota Kinabalu SOULed OUT (RM22) outlets all the way up to Chap Goh Meh on the last day of the festival (February 19, 2019).
Starting on February 15 and throughout the weekend, SOULed OUT outlets will be visited by acrobatic lion dancers and light firecrackers in typical SOULed OUT tradition. In addition, Taman Tun and Ampang outlets will also be hosting festive performances including Kung Fu Master and God of Prosperity stage acts. The festivities will culminate on February 17, at SOULed OUT Kuala Lumpur (Sri Hartamas) where the God of Prosperity will be giving out ang pows and wishes of good fortune. Patrons can enjoy performances including a magic show by the Opera Man and Face Changer as the flagship SOULed OUT outlet closes the evening with an awesome firework display to wish loyal and new patrons good fortune in the lunar year to come.

You can also welcome good fortune as you ‘Lou Hei’ at WIP in Bangsar Shopping Centre where ‘Yee Sang’ deals start at RM38 for up to six people. The gastrobar has also concocted an exclusive, limited time Chinese New Year cocktail, the ‘Oriental Fizz’ for RM28, comprising vodka, blood orange syrup, Aperol, lime juice and sparkling wine. Foodies can indulge in ‘The Emperor Platter’, of popular Chinese Dim Sum, including prawn dumplings (har gow), steamed glutinous rice (Lo Mai Gai), chicken siew mai, sesame prawn rolls and deep-fried prawn wantans served with chilli and hoisin-based sauces.
