Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui – Indulge in Live Alaskan King Crab at Cafe

August 28, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

As one of the most popular buffets in Hong Kong, Cafe at Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui is known for its delectable seafood spread for seafood lovers. To surprise diners with more treasure from under the sea, from September to October, the poached Boston lobster will be upgraded to the poached Alaskan king crab every Friday, weekend, public holiday and public holiday’s eve.

To enjoy the most sought-after crab species in the world, the Alaskan king crab, diners will be able to pick their favourite king crab legs at the station where the chef will freshly prepare them in front of their eyes. Every meaty claw and thick gigantic leg is filled with luscious and succulent snow-white crab meat with bright red highlights, while its unmatched natural sweetness and tenderness is absolutely irresistible for seafood connoisseurs looking to savour every bite of this unique delicacy.

In addition to the appealing Alaskan king crab corner, do not miss out on the freshly sliced sashimi, including hamachi, hiramasa, kanpachi and katsuo, three of which will appear every Friday, weekend, public holiday and public holiday’s eve. The enticing grilled station also showcases a range of grilled seafood such as sanma, flounder and squid. Head to the teppanyaki counter, where diners are invited to savour culinary selections prepared teppanyaki-style, such as sirloin, lamb rack and foie gras.

The all-day restaurant Cafe also serves an impressive range of freshly made delicacies from different live cooking stations, ranging from sushi and tempura at the Japanese kitchen, a fine selection of fresh pastas and pizzas from the Western kitchen to authentic curries and fresh naan breads from the Indian kitchen and an array of Western antipasti, salads, cold cuts, seafood on ice, as well as homemade desserts.
