Tips for Home Renovation

August 15, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

We have gotten our keys and renovation starts!
And for us, we assured our-self getting the professionals to do the work for us. It is always hard to get a good contractor that is so into your home. We found the contractor by the name of Eric ( Contact No: 012-339 7178)  and he is indeed one of the superb contractors I liaise with.
Budgeting
Set your budget right. And reminded to have a buffer of 10- 20% extra as things may change from time to time where your contractor may need hacking or additional things to do before they fulfil your needs. Asides, from time to time; you may be would love to add additional things in it.
Research
Get some ideas from all over the place where you can get ideas from friends home, renovation websites such as atap, as well as pinterest. Most of my ideas comes from pinterest and they really have nice idea for renovation. I also search them with some keywords such as Ikea Hacks where some of the things you can purchased from Ikea and put inside your home too. Don’t make decision FAST and take time as I know there is so much of fair upcoming and the sales will tell you that is THE LAST DAY. Just sit down and take your time to consider or google on your phone on the product before any decision made.
Colour tone
Mix and match accordingly. Colors makes different to your home for sure. And for me, I am a black and white person hence my home are mostly grey toned except for my daughter would be a pink tone. Once you have decided your home colour, it would makes things easier for you when you purchase other furniture.
Hire a Reliable Contractor.
A reliable contractor makes you life much easier. There are many things that your contractor help you where I don’t mind paying slightly more for their help. Many of my friends do it on your own where they hire plaster ceiling contractor, electrical contractor, cabinets contractor or more and they are facing loads of problems after that. The one-stop solution contractor makes you hassle- free where what you need and you want, we just talk to him and he will assist to solve all your issues
Lights
Depending on each person, if you love to have nice lighting with those fashioned style. Each person have their own preference on lightingand as for me,  I am not the person who like to play with lights so I get only simple lighting for my home.
We will be giving you more ideas and some of our choices to make your home renovation goes easy !
