Wine Pairing Dinner at Shang Palace (27 April 2018)

Shang Palace is hosting an exquisite wine pairing dinner set on the 27th April in collaboration with Moet Hennessy Diageo Malaysia, priced at RM320 nett per person. Diners will be served with a 6-course dinner menu with wine pairings such as the Wok-fried Beef with Green Peppers, Mushrooms and Garlic paired with a glass of Cape Mentelle Cabernet-Merlot 2014, which complement the dish and refreshes the palate with every sip. There is also the Deep-fried Scallop and Seafood Paste with Pear & Seared Foie Gras paired with a glass of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2017 that blends well with the dish. The Braised Freshwater King Prawn with Port Wine and Supreme Soya Sauce comes with the Terrazas Reserva Chardonnay 2016.

There will also be Baked Canadian Cod Fish with Supreme Soya Soup, Braised Abalone with Wok-fried chicken rice, Sakura Prawns and Yam and Cream of Papaya topped with Vanilla Ice Cream & Fried Avocado custard with Golden Threads in the 6 course.

There will also be a Wine Pairing A-La-Carte Menu where the three dishes will be served to guests in Shang Palace from 18 April till 13 May during lunch and dinner:-

·Deep-fried Scallop in Seafood Paste with Pear & Seared Foie Gras
Paired with two glasses of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2017
Price: RM 228 nett for 2 persons

· Braised Freshwater King Prawn with Port Wine and Supreme Soya Sauce
Paired with two glasses of Terrazas Reserva Chardonnay 2016
Price: RM 212 nett for 2 persons

· Wok-fried Beef with Green Peppers, Mushrooms and Garlic
Paired with two glasses of Cape Mentelle Cabernet-Merlot 2014
Price: RM 138 nett for 2 persons
